Great pitching all around. Hated that the Caney Creek pitcher walked in the winning run. He pitched a great game otherwise. Way to go Coogs. Keep grinding.

Maybe so. We have to figure out how to have State expectations while also know the sky is not falling when we don't achieve them. Happy Thanksgiving all. I'm out for the year.

I think what we have to realize is that the Cougars are made up of 16, 17 & 18 year old kids just like all of our opponents. They work hard and play hard just like our kids and coaches do. Our program is strong and getting stronger but all these State or Bust Fair Weather fans that turn on a program for not winning a State Championship every year that has NEVER won a state championship is mind-boggling. They're the fans in the stands that when the run doesn't work, yell "Throw the ball, Coach" and when the pass doesn't work, yell "Pass the ball, Coach".. Is humorous actually. But that's the nature of the beast. Fans have the right to be critical.

Wrong. Behind the Cougars and Riordan all the way. I didn't agree with all the moves this year, but when 9-3 and 3 consecutive district championships in a row is a bad year it reminds me of how we got our State or Bust and Mecca reputation on this website. I want a state championship as bad as the next guy, but "Come On Man..."

Agree some. Don't forget show important O-Line Play is tho. Is what it is. Will look on the bright side and look 3 peat District Championship and a semi-final run in the last 3 years and hope for a longer run next year. Go Crosby!!!

More consistency would be nice built 2 years removed from a semi final run. JS.

Great post. The negative is that this Crosby team has not played at 100% yet (penalties, injuries, execution). The good news is that this Crosby team has not played at 100% yet (how good can we be?). I think we could lose to Marshall. I think we could win 5 more. Go Coogs!!!

Disagree. Taxpayers pay the salary. The should know. Glad to see we are working hard to keep one of the best young coaches around.
