  1. He was small but had great speed and was "a player". They'd better be able to replace him.
  2. I'm not sure about that. They'll be competitive but to say they'll beat everyone but Crosby is optimistic imo.
  3. I agree with the order of 1-2-3. That's the order I'd put them in, but I think it will be a tight race and although I think the top 3 will be Crosby, NC & BH, I could see them in a variety of different orders. The 4 spot is where it gets tough. Do the Broncos return to the playoffs on the backs of kids that have never played on Friday nights? Does Porter have a playoff program now or was that just a one year playoff team? Can Humble finally put some consistency together? I can see any of these 3 getting in, in the 4 spot. But I don't like to ride the fence so I'll put Humble in the 4 spot. Are you ready for some football?
  4. Love the no justification!!! Just bc I said so!!! Drop Mike!!! Awesome. Now I'm rooting for 7-3 or better for "The Train".
  5. So you want to go back to Gage's game plan?
  6. Hope so. Love beating y'all. But after that...Go Broncos!!!
  7. I honestly see the 21-5A vs 22-5A first round matchup being more competitive than recent years.
  8. According to you, what would a "real measurable result" be? I have to assume you mean a State Championship. If so, then you are correct. Crosby has done nothing. Although I agree with you that ultimately nothing but a State Championship really matters, I disagree that there are "no real measurable results". I'd count the following: 3 District Championships in a row (Yes, 2 were Co-Champs). Around 5 years of Bi-District Championships in a row. I think it's now a 4 year home winning streak. 3 years removed from a State Semifinal appearance. Something like a .850 winning percentage under Riordan. I do agree with you that the knock on the program historically and in recent years (minus the semi final run) is the inability to get out of the 2nd round. Until the Cougars can do that consistently we can only claim to be a very good area program rather than an elite team in Texas. With that said, we are still going to be loud and proud and get on your nerves.
  9. Whew. You're an angry little fella. Sorry we've gotten under your skin.
  10. The Cougars don't struggle at BH. Victory in Bronco Stadium seems tough for Crosby (broke through that one 2 years ago) but Coogs seem to play well at the Ant Hill.
  11. I'm a homer but I still have Crosby +14 over BH.
  12. I have no idea but I know last years team was the most physical and determined team I've seen play the Cougars in a long time.
  13. Crosby 10-3 8-2 Regular season. Loss to Manvel then a slip up loss. Not sure to who. Then 2-1 in playoffs. 21-5A 1) Crosby, 2) BH, 3) New Caney, 4) Porter / Humble I'm not a Bronco hater. I just don't see them getting better with that few returning starters. My experience is that if you are coming off of a poor year and you have little starting experience returning, you're in trouble. Love Bronco 94's conviction and will be happy for him if the Broncos finish 2nd in 21-5A in 2017. Could be a fun season to watch play out.
  14. Parking is better than then but will still be tough.
  15. Heck if I know. When I think we're very good we get beat round 2. When I think we're avg we go to the semis. 2017 Coog offense appears to be in good shape. If some new faces on defense grow up, I'd put our over / under on wins at 11.
  16. (Crosby Code Red Cougars) 1) Barbers Hill 2) New Caney 3) Dayton 4) Porter
  17. Besides "YOUR" team, who do you have as the top 4 in 2017 in 21-5A? Put your team in ( ) followed by the other top 4.
