      This post is so sad!! First LC-M parents and Politics ran David Williams off !! Then when they didn't The Coach they(Parents and Politics) wanted. So they began the process of running  Coach Moody off !! I can remember Coach Moody's first year,I took my son to LC-M's football camp that year and the assistant coaches where already bashing Coach Moody. Keep in mind LC-M your job of AD/ Head football coach is not desirable......because of the parents and politics. The only way you can fix LC-M's problem is find the source of bad politics(Cancer) and REMOVE it from your school...... and the cancer knows who they are!!!!! TRUTH HURTS!!!!!!!!  

    name me one coach that was here this year or last year that was at that football camp you took your son to...can't do it can you!!!  Now name the common factor of these posts....a little easier for you?

    almost every coach he brought in has left him...every coach that tried to stick it out with him left him...

    there are a lot of other sports @ lcm that have successful programs.  do the coaches of these sports have a secret stash of athletes that they draw from or is it the same "spoiled rich white kids"? ::)

    when the ad came in & put "his" rules & ideas into play (which happens EVERY time a new ad takes over...it is to be expected) & his ideas turned out not to be effective for that program yet he refuses to reevaluate & take a different approach isn't it to be expected that kids will gravitate to more successful programs?

    if a new "ad" came into your job & tied the hands of your supervisors like moody has done to his coaches, you would still be willing to "suit up" & take one for the team?  no, you'd be on the phone to the union boss or peddling your resume to "play" some where else!

    let's be serious...when hundreds of cars & trucks pour into ANY school parking lot on a fall friday night in southeast texas, it's gonna get ugly!  part of the challenge for most males in our area is getting to "their spot" first, cutting someone off, etc...all of these years i have thought that was part of the sport of football for some of you dads!  :D  not to mention the after game parking lot flight...that could be an olympic event!

    1st of all, moody calls the shots within the football program...he only wants "yes men" under him.  there is no room for any ideas other than his own...

    2ndly, he is intimidated too easily by parents & community members...if you disipline little johnny & his mommy & daddy get mad...too bad...go home & take little johnny with you...he has very little respect from the players, parents or the men who work under him (except 1 or 2)

    i think the best bet for a football turn around would be crouch...who knows what will actually happen. 

    moody's contract is up, but can the powers that be admit it was a mistake?  he will more than likely not get another ad job with an 8 & 20 three year record & will his ego allow him to take a step down? 

    with a record like that hopefully he would be willing to admit that his playbook isn't working.  how many times are we going to bang our heads into the same brick wall?

    you know, that would only make sense

    how many coaches did david williams have?  moody has his guys coaching both sides of the ball.  the budget is public record & i know for a fact that the board did not bring in a new ad, who was supposed to turn the program around & then cut his budget so that he could only have 6 varsity coaches (including himself)....he moved them around (& out of the program all together) like he wanted them & now it has bitten him in his rear end.  & having 4 jv coaches?  they scored 1 touchdown the entire year!  i think this plan needs to be scrapped!
