    We are getting close to playoff time. Every single game can make a difference in who makes the playoffs. What are yalls thoughts?

    Lumberton white v. Nederland white

    Lumberton red v. Nederland black  

    Beaumont blue v. PNG purple  

    Vidor white v. WOS white  (homer pick)

    BC v. WOS blue  (this could be a good game but I think WOS pulls it out)

    LCM v. PNG grey

    OF v. Nederland gold

    Kountze v. Vidor black  (not sure my pick will help but it's all I can do to help coach)

    PNG white  (good win coach, actually I know yall would rather play than get a bye)

    BC wins over WOS Blue (should be a very good game but BC will pull through)

    Ned Gold wins over OF

    I heard Lumberton White Sr lost to BC Sr 14-0, confirmation?????

    Confirm B.C. Sr. Team won 7 to 6 over Lumberton Sr. White. BC Jrs and Srs had a big week. Great job guys. ;D

    Thanks WOS98 good to have you on the sideline today... Hats off to Ned white Jr. great game today. Time to get ready for WOS Blue should be another battle..

    Today was really busy for me shooting stuff but I'm going to try and get some of these games for my shows.

    Ash, looks like the game you need to be at next week is the Jr. BC vs. WOS White 1pm in BC. Heck, I coach another game that day and I wish I could make it...

    Why are you so defensive?? It not BC against Lumberton! Its conduct at an event for kids...

    defensive........maybe it was the idiot part............

    What might help you out is think why everyone is talking about lumberton maybe because of people like you that just don't shut up you give them a bad name watch out i guess you will fly out the computer. look its old now for your town just drop it wrong is wrong and all involved were wrong but life does move on..  thetragicmouthy

    you got that right, our information was wrong as KOUNTZE IS the division three champions. I still don't see how rules can be applied to one level with two divisions and another with three. I know that high school has district games and the non-district games don't count, still don't think it is right. I congratulate Kountze as they ARE the Champs. I just don't think it is right as this level but maybe I am just a misformed first year guy. Had I known the facts I would have never posted what I did. Believe me the WHOLE team is upset like a wild pack of hornets. The Kountze kids came out and outplayed us and deserved the win. Either we will come out and lay down for Bridge City or I would hate to play us. We will see what happens. For the record when i posted I honestly believed that we were champs.  If you have a problem with me I would be more than happy to meet you somewhere and discuss it. Geez, get a life lol. IF you beat us I will congratulate you and if we win I will stay say good job to you. I am not like some on here. We will be prepared.

    According to my calculations, congratulations to the STJFL Junior Division Three Champions:

    West Orange-Stark Junior Blue Mustangs!!!!!!!!!!!

    Although, we have not quite clinched the title outright (we can this weekend with a win or Orangefield loss), we have the tiebreaker in the form of a victory over Orangefield (the only team that can tie us). Pretty good for a team with 12 players with no previous football experience. Proud of you guys and keep working hard, the goal is not yet achieved. Great job coaches!

    Well txdragon one important rule allways take things week by week maybe you need to change this subject from WOS Blue to kountze division three champions and WOS runner up.. Well i guess you already know the out come of your game vs BC or maybe you dont .... ;D :P :P :-* :-* :-* :-*

    Well just had to stir the pot a little iam also a WOS Grad in 98 but i coach in BC now and it should not be hard to figure out who i am so come see me sat and i think the way the seeding and wildcard is not right. For instance we were 3 and 1 in division play vidor black was 1 and 3 before last Saturday and we beat them in division play, but there non conference games they had won so there overall record was one win better than ours.. So all and all we had to win sat which we did to make playoffs i think all of this should be reconsidered during off season because it would have not been right if we would have lost to have a better division record than some one and we would go home..Any way i have nuttin but love for WOS once a mustang allways a stang except my sons team good luck sat its gonna be a little chilly.... ;D ;D ;D

    I don't know if junior blue will win but i GUARENTEE a better effort and some hard hitting that we didn't do last game. The kids WILL be prepared and fired up. Good luck to everyone except who we play lol..

  17. BRAWL IN LUMBERTON & B.C PEE WEE GAME???

       I was at the game when this happened. It really amazes me that people will form an opinion from hear say. Only a few people were at the game that posted here, the rest are just talking to talk.  Here is what I witnessed, heard, and what people said directly after it happened.

    1.  The head coach of the Lumberton team was near the Bridge City sideline because his team was. For those of you who could not figure it out, those small lines on the field are called hash marks. The ball is placed left, right or center on the hash marks depending where the ball is whistled dead.

    2.  In the third quarter, a Bridge City coach(or parent with field badge) was yelling obscene comments to the Lumberton players(yes, the 7 & 8 year olds)......"Get your F**king *ss off the field, you cant play with our kids. According to several people (and kids, mine for one), he did this several times.

    3.  One of the Lumberton Board members went up to ask him to shut up. That coach took a swing and hit the board member on his chin.  This is when most of Lumberton's coaches went to the Bridge City sideline.  They talked and started to walk away. That same BC coach or parent called one of the Lumberton team moms a Bit**.  That happened to be the Lumberton head coaches sister. At that point he ran up and the big fight started.  By the way, noone spit on anyone. Cops were called and I guess we will read about it in the paper.

       That was fact, now my 2 cents.  I feel all the coaches that fought should be banned from coaching. This is not something we should teach our kids. My kid was playing in that game. I wish it would of never happened.  However, I can't say I wouldn't hurt someone if they called my wife a Bit** in front of me. If my child would have been near or around the fight, I would have been there to protect him. If someone would of came at me, I would have protected myself. So, who's fault was it??  Well, Bridge City threw the first swing. The sad part about it, it was one guy. One stupid guy shouting comments that the referees should have heard and reacted by banning him from the field. They did not control the field and a fight was the result. So in order, its That Stupid Guy, Referees, Bridge City, and Lumberton!

    If what you posted is true the coach of the lumberton team should have stopped the game and got a stjfl rep and explained what was being said to the kids. I am a coach in BC and we are told if their is a problem there is a stjfl rep at every game, it should have not took till the 4th quarter 4 min left in the game. Talk to them and i promise this would have never happened. I have allways told my son it takes a bigger man to walk away from something like that {words}.  Iam glad you know what hash marks are now you need to take a little time to learn the game clock like what quarter you are in and time left. When you are playing for first place in your division and you are getting dominated some people r sore loosers that's my opinion and iam stickink to it good luck to all in playoffs go BC Jr. All said i think it was handled well with stjfl.     I think the meeting that was held tonight about the football season was great i am glad to resume season and not miss anything my son is happy also. We lost our home and almost everything in it but we didn't loose the need to finish out football, cant wait to get something back to normal in our community [bC] and hope all are safe and well.... ;D :P >:( >:( >:( >:(;) see you in a couple of weeks td cant wait..HA HA just kidding td...... :-*
