But the one play that stands out, is the last of the Bay City game when NEdDis on the 1 yard line and we run a sweep to our side and it looked like we got in from the RB's dive but the line judge said he was down. NED sideline and fans were going crazy because everyone saw the RB go over. We needed instant replay that year.
saw this game also. he was clearly in -
I remember back in 1999 when WO-S played Lincoln fighting for the third and final playoff spot! We were scoreless until late in the fourth quarter when Lincoln scored a field goal. Then the Mustangs fought back scoring on a very big run! We held Lincoln thanks to our Chain Gain defense forcing them to punt very late in the game. Then Jamal "Tootie" Warnell committed that costly turnover on punt return in deep in our own territory forcing Lincoln to score their game-winning touchdown, making the playoffs for the first time since 1985 while the Mustangs are being forced to miss out for the first time in seven years and the second time in fifteen and trust me, seven years is a long time! People who were at the game are never going to forget that. If Tootie would have never committed that costly turnover, the 'Stangs could have won a State Championship but who cares what happened in '99. Then next year we went to the State Finals, losing to Ennis 38-24! We were heartbroken but we never went down without a fight!
I was at this game. total mayhem after Lincoln scored that go-ahead TD. -
[Hidden Content] Good luck to Hank and Brennan Doty (who is doing the same thing at Oregon) as they travel down a rough road.
I gotta feeling they will make it. Doty has a very good chance cause i think Thomas is gone after this year. And Chip loves Texas QBs as he stated last season. ;) Hank will make it also, not at QB but he has the tools to be a great athlete in any position for TCU. -

That why these schools are wrong so wrong and these students will suffer from there bond being passed, WOW 2 passed since 2006, PNG (good god why would you want your kids in a brand new JR, and elementary schoos, BISD, Port Arthur way to nice of a High School, etc too many to count. Smitty is so right let never build anything nice in NEderland, no to extra curricualar activities, school 7 days a week for 10 hours a day. Lets have the lowest tax rate in Jefferson county O wait we already do.
After reading that quote, it seems to me Nederland needs to build a state of the art English/Grammar lab.
Been saying that for years. ;D

[How many times has Nederland won the district championship in UIL Academics over the last eleven years?
Just want to point out that LCM took 2nd in UIL last year (barely lost to PNG) and took 3rd this year (losing by one 5th place to Nederland), despite missing all of band (see: half of their UIL team) because of the triennial field trip to Colorado...just saying... :)
At the 2010 meet, our score was 431 to LC-M's 268. That's a 163 point difference. Our score was 1.61 times yours. With that said, LC-M's band being in Colorado did hurt their UIL team this year. However, it wasn't like LC-M was barely losing to us in the sweepstakes races at the practice meets. The only practice meets we didn't win this year were Nederland (Pearland Dawson showed up) and A&M Consolidated (lost by one freaking place to Whitehouse, which is the North Texas version of Friendswood). We won the 4A/5A category at all of the others by considerable margins. Also, we beat second place Nederland this year 493-233. Back on topic... Nederland's schools suck. ;D
uh oh....here we go ;D
