  1. ::) ::) PN-G wins out?  ::) ::)

    Sorry Soul Man, but after what I saw last night I have to say yes. Hopefully you guys prove me wrong! ;D

    We've gotten much better Defensively since we've played Vidor.  No offense, but Vidor have been playing lackluster after our game.  I have picked them every week since our win and they just havn't shown the same spunk they had early.  Nevertheless, Vidor will still make the playoffs.  PN-G will have a battle on their hands in week 10.  Then it will be our last game ever at Babe?  Our boys will be up for it.

    BTW, I have seen PN-G both in person and on Video.  Knowing what I know our boys can do, Indians will be in trouble.  It won't be a blowout, but we will walk away winners.  Write that down. ;D

    Yeah, we didn't forget, you all are the only team with "athletes".  You remind us every week.

  2. A program that has experienced major success over the years?  I would say that only 6 district championships, 9 playoff appearances and only three 10 win or more seasons – all in the last 30 years – isn’t exactly what I’d call major success.  The truth of the matter is that PNG would love to have what Calallen has experienced in the last 25 years and they can’t even come close to that achievement.  They may have better facilities and players that are more talented, but the honest truth is that PNG is nothing more than a mediocre program and Danaher would be crazy to leave the powerhouse he’s built to take a chance on a program that’s done nothing but produce a one-hit wonder team in 1999 with Dustin Long at quarterback.  And how exactly does a team with a 3rd year starter returning at quarterback only produce a 3-6 season?  Danaher is a smart man and when the chips are on the line – he’ll realize that PNG is a legend only in their own minds.  They are doing exactly what we rag on GP for doing – living off past accomplishments in the 1970s.  But the real question is “what have you done lately?†and the answer is NOT MUCH!

    Nice Go ahead with yourself

    here is a quote from another site...priceless...you know who you are

    Henceforth the need for change at the Reservation! Not sure what this guys point was, but if he was trying to make the case that Danaher would be crazy to leave CCC I think he actually did the opposite. Folks we know "we have done nothing lately" that's why we want your coach! Grin

  3. This is from another message board.  this persons makes a good point.

    Although I respect his decision to defend our Country in the armed forces, I don't agree with his assessment. Life is about striving for success...and everyone wants to be the BEST that they can be in order to be successful. I agree that sometimes focus is lost in the lessons of life when it has to be either win...or lose, but there is just something about an individual that exceeds light years beyond his peers. We want our coach to motivate our kids to be competitors, to teach our boys how to be successful and to accept nothing less. Success at one stage in life typically translates into success at another stage in life. Regardless of your career, you are going to be judged by your performance.  Students are evaluated and ranked (and accepted into colleges) based on grades,  doctors on successful treatments and/or procedures, teachers and schools on TAKS scores and attendance, lawyers on how many cases they have won or lost and coaches, like ALL other professions, are evaluated on how many games are won or lost.  I certainly want a surgeon with a high success rate in his line of work performing surgery on my child...or an attorney that has a proving track record of winning in the courtroom defending me...and, in this case, a coach that is known for winning (not losing) and turning athletic programs around. In other words, we are all judged based on certain criteria that pertain to our profession.  We choose our paths in life based on what we are good at and find pleasure in at the same time and consequently judged based on how well we do!  Life is all about competition...it's what makes us strive to be better than the next person...and it's human nature. Why strive to be the best if it means nothing?
