Here is a question for you: No one on and no one out. New batter and no count. Pitcher is in the wind up and before he starts his motion or even come set he touches his mouth. Home umpire calls a balk, then awards the batter a ball. When did this rule change?

I hate to hear an umpire assuming a team will win the majority of it's remaining games. It seems to show bias, or worse - reparation. What is sad is the fact that some people would actually think that the umpires would have a bias towards a team. That is ludicrous! Like I had said before the umpires are there to control the game not to cheat!

If a coach comes out and asks the umpire for help, NICELY, the umpire will normally ask. These guys are out there to help and control the game. They are also Human and can make mistakes. If you have never been an umpire then do not hate nor belittle them. All umpires make mistakes and they do learn from them. They do a great job and once you get to know them they are some good guys too! If we do not have any umpires, then we do not have baseball....remember that!

Both can swing the bat! Should be a good game but have to say BC will come out on top.

There is nothing that can be done about it now. Congrats to Vidor and PNG will still have another shot at them.

Depends on why the coach brought the player up. Can he run bases? Pinch hit? ETC? Most coaches have good reason for bringing up underclassmen. Sometimes it is just to get exposure to the varsity level.

If you are talking about impact on Buc basketball then you cannot leave out TJ White and the Hodges brothers. These guys had major inpacts through their 4 years at ECC.

Any type of loss SUCKS! But I think leading the whole game and then losing in any come from behind is the hardest. But I cannot stand to lose period!

DOn't take shots at the lower level....This was not even part of the discussion. Get the facts straight. Plus soccer is a little different. 15-0 would be like 105 -0 and I don't think any juniour high could score that many points in a game.
