  1. well i can tell you from a vidor fans point of view, png was definatly burning the clock running the ball in the fourth. there was too much time on the clock to just kneel it. if vidor wouldve stopped him then there wouldnt have been a td and the clock wouldve ran out. png did a great job on both sides of the ball and they were very well coached. good luck the rest of the year and post season. most well balanced team in 20 4A

  2. was at the vidor, central game and it was the most exciting and nerve racking game ive ever seen. having said that i didnt think that there couldve been anything to add to that game. saturday i listened to yaws broadcast of the game and was totaly blown away with the excitement and drama that yaw added to this game. glad i couldnt hear yaw while i was at the game, dont think i couldve took it ;D

  3. according to the vidor qtrback, they didnt get in on the two point conversion. went and ate with a bunch of the vidor players after the game and that came straight from him, was about six inches short. so now that should stop the second guessing. what a game. you couldnt have scripted this any better than it turned out. each team stepped it up when they needed to to get to ot. couldve gone either way, jags won..... i see good things for both teams from here on out, good luck to both.

  4. this game went exactly like i thought it would. a slug fest. have to say both teams played their hearts out and central came out on top. they did what they had to do to win. i believe these two teams will end up first and second in district. would also like to say i think the refs did a good job letting the boys decide this one. the whole clock thing was not good but i dont think it decided the game. vidor can hold theyre heads up high, time to get ready for lumberton..

  5. the fire marshal has more to do with safety codes than just fire safety. they could be going by the age of the stands and be concerned about possible failure if overloaded. they also determine what an allowable number of people is for a business. but you dont normally see a fire marshall get involved in an outdoor event unless called upon. kinda makes you wonder... ive seen vidors homecoming with both sides overflowing and people lining the fences several deep. no fire marshall shutting them down.
