wow 10 people, must of been a good night that night. Basketball might be lesser sport followed in Sinton but Sinton was state champions in 1995 in basketball. Sinton is considered a baseball town, have produce pitching talent through the years since their first baseball state title in 1988. Sinton does support their youth and school programs with a decent fan base. Yea means nothing in a game but the kids playing sure like the support they receive.

Tyler Handson has 7081 yds passing with 72 passing tds and 6006 yds rushing with 95 rushing tds in his 4 years at qb. In the 4 playoff games he has had 9 passing td and 8 rushing tds. Just under 5 tds per playoff games total.

60 degrees at game time and falling a few degrees to 56 by 10pm  from one weather forecast site.

In our 5 team district, IMO Sinton was the 4th fastest team wise behind Yoakum, Cuero and Ingleside. One thing this Sinton team does is force you to stop them offensively as they normally won't stop themselves by penalties. They average around 4 or less per game. Had one game with no penalties and a few with only 1. The coaching staff has them mentally prepared for the games but this one will be a challenge to stay mentally focus with the pressure they'll see. Looking forward to Sinton offense going up against a talented defensive group and see how they do.

Started with 3 running backs with Colten Cohea (jr) 6' 195 lbs as the starter and Ethan Owens (so) 6'2 190 lbs and Rob Knox (jr) 6'2 205 lbs also getting playing time in backfield.Knox out for rest of the season.

Cohea has 827 yds 5.9 avg with 9 tds rushing and 307 yds receiving 3 tds with 19.2 avg/rec

Owens has 661 yds 9.7 avg with 13 tds rushing and 498 yds receiving 6 tds with 14.2 avg/rec

Cohea last two games had 92 yds against Wimberley and 128 yds against Yoakum

Owens last two game had 100 yds against Wimberley on 8 carries and 40 yds against Yoakum on 3 carries.

if they want to stop them, our dbs going to have to step up and make the stops. We have some dbs that will challenge, get some int ......hopefully. But we're just glad our team gets a shot at yall.

Hoping Sinton staff comes out pressing and not soft to start the game, they'll mix up most likely but I rather they bring it from the start and set the tempo early.

Hopefully Sinton qb is closer to being able to run with the ball like he can. Been a slow year stat wise for the season for him compare to last season totals of 1600 yds passing 13 tds and 2510 rushing 37 tds. He has picked it up last several games despite not being at full speed running with the ball. Season totals this season are 2404 yds passing  25 tds and 1294 yds rushing 25 tds. He missed a game due to early season injury.

IMO game comes down to the big boys at the lines. Sinton is better prepare this time around at this round with pretty close to the same group from last season.
