Lamar University and Lamar State College Port Arthur are teaming up again this year for our 3rd annual Strike Out Cancer Event!
On Halloween, we are hosting a Haunting for a Cure 5K Fun Run at 9am. We are then playing an exhibition game at LSCPA's Martin Field at 1:00pm.
To register for the 5K visit or contact Coach Honkofsky at [email protected] for donation, 5K or Strike Out Cancer game information.
The last two years we have raised over $10,000 for the Southeast Texas chapter of the American Cancer Society! Please help us surpass that goal this year!

LU Softball has recently made two new hires. They are both available for lessons. Details and contact information is below!
Pitching Lessons: Demi Laney, Binghamton University. Holds single-season strike out record, 2-time All-Conference pitcher, program record-holder for strikeouts.
Hitting/Infield Lessons: Paige Ortiz. Fordham Univeristy. Katy, Texas native. Played for Houston Power. 3-time conference champion, NCAA regional appearances. Conference tournament Most Valuable Player, 1st team all-conference and all-rookie team honoree. Set freshman homerun record.
