31-21 Final
I'm a Lumberjack for life and just want to say it was a great showing tonight from Orangefield. Very fundamentally sound football team and huge kids. Dibolls record will turn some heads at 1-5 now but I'm telling you if you don't show up to play they can and will upset a good football team. We have been in every game except for Newton of course. Defense has played very well all yr. but the offense has never got going. We have used 3 different qbs but now they are starting to move the ball effectively. Very young on offense but I expect a good fighting chance that they will contend in district play. Just had to feel yall in as if you care.

Don't give up on Diboll yet. They have had a great turnaround from a 2-8 season last yr. and showed they can play with anyone. There stud back is back at 100% witch averaged 240 yards a game early in the season before going down with a foot injury. Should be a showdown with Fairfield this Friday. Whats your thoughts?

1st team to 40 pts wins,both have played well,so I'll go w/Liv kids & Shepherd

I don't think that will be the type of game that we see. Diboll gave up 21 to Madisonville and 28 to Coldspring and the def was not the full reason for those points. ( turnovers ) With that said the offense has not been the same without there stud back the last 3 weeks. He's back and about 75%. I do think Shepherd is legit and has improved tremendously on offense with #4 being a playmaker. I think it will come down to the team with the least turnovers..
28-21

This game will be the biggest game of the yr. for both teams. Diboll has put together a solid yr. to this point but has yet to play to there full potential in my opinion. Shepherd has also played tuff against every matchup this season but after going 4-0 has stumbled on the defensive side a bit. Should be a great game to decide the 2nd spot in the district up to this point.

I give all the props to Huntington winning there first district game since 2008. Although im a lumberjack fan I have deep down inside always rooted for Huntingtons football program to be successful and competitive. Congrats to Jeremiah for being a leader in there program and leading the change in Huntington. He is an awesome athlete!!

Diboll will have to bring there A game tomorrow to knock off the defending district champs. The offense will have to step up and execute alot better than last weeks sloppy performance. With that said i have seen a great week of practice and a determined Diboll group that is ready to go to battle!! Should be a slugfest and im looking forward to watching this match up.

Diboll coming of a comeback win against Madisonville last week and Coldspring up ending Shepherd. This matchup should be an intense battle for control of the District. As u know coach Morrison came from Coldspring so it will be somewhat a rivalry game in the making. Who u got and what's your thoughts?

What happened to #7 from Diboll? Saw he didnt play much against the Bulldogs!!!! He is a stud!!!
Foot injury in first quarter. The backup came in and had over 150 yard and several tds. Great performance from him.

I predict Diboll moves to #5 at least. I seen you changed your pick late.

Diboll by 21. I don't think CC has seen a team of this level all yr. Struggled moving the ball against Kounze and lost to Trinity.
-
Diboll has put up an average of 500 yards total offense per game averaging 30 plus points a game their offense is hard to stop if you try to stop the air assault they will just run the ball and their attack is very balanced A Plus rating to the offensive Coord. Coach Powell.Head Coach Morrison and defensive coord. Allen have brought some swagger to the Lumberjacks , . They Have a shot at the district crown. Now to Shepherd they will be Tested tonight against Crockett if they beat Crockett they will have a say in who takes the District Crown. But do not leave out Madisonville and the big bad wolf Coldspring so the next few weeks will shake it down.
What is the total yards for Desmond Shelby through 4 games. He is a weapon that has solidified there running game.
-
I hate going against Diboll when they're good but…… give me CC 34-28 at home.
I really think this game is big for Diboll. It should determine who this team really is.

DIBOLL at #10!! What?? Who seen this happening this yr. The Coach Morrison movement has started.
