Buna will not beat EC. EC is not Kirbyville. They will be prepared for this game. Buna is going to have do better than a few screen passes to move the ball on EC. Sutherland will have a better game plan that consists of more than just sending everyone, everytime.

Not cocky, just confident in our boys. EC has a good team, and we'll have to play our best to beat them. Every team has a ( wildcatbacker, bedelmon, imagination, etc. lol) How boring these forums would be without them!! :)

I have only seen one of these teams play (Buna) and they are a good team no doubt. But they are very beatable. The Kirbyville game was one of those that could have gone either way and started off with Kirbyvilledominating. Buna adjusted though͵ and when time ran out after a see-saw second half͵ Buna had 7 more pts. EC will do well to pay attention to the pass AND run and they can win this. Don't make the same mistake Kirbyville did and focus only on the run. I say EC will take Buna by a td.

Wildcatbacker I knew you'd be pulling for EC, that's the only way Kirbyville get's back in the hunt for a district title. Buna and EC control their on destiny, win out and it's yours, Kirbyville is gonna need some help from their old friend EC :)

Game over. Buna won this year. If some of these district teams meet again in the playoffs, the back and forth can start again. If not, time to move on and wait til next year. There might just be a reversal of fortune.

I agree, this thread is dead. Most of the Kirbyville fans manned up and took their crow. Let's move on. I'll be supporting all Dis. 12 3A teams in the playoffs as long as they're not playing Buna lol. Good luck to Kirbyville the rest of the way

You're right Deputy20, Buna's gonna have to bring their A game Friday night. EC always finds a way to get it done. Buna fans have a lot of respect for their program. This game is gonna be a good one.

The District 12 3A Div. 1 schedulers didn't do Buna any favors. Kirbyville, EC, and Kountze, back to back to back!! It's a conspiracy lol. Buna can do it, we just have to keep up the intensity and physical play, limit the mistakes. One game at a time guys. EC will be ready, Buna will be too. I can't wait for this one.

If you get there early there is good parking directly behind the visitor's stands.

Wackpack what about the visitors stand capacity?? Better or worse than Buna's?? It looked like we only had enough seats for about half of the Kirbyville fans.

I believe it was the Kirbyville fans who predicted a blowout. Win by 3 or 4 TD's. To much speed on both sides of the ball. Buna hasn't seen an offense and defense like this blah, blah, blah. Well guess what?? Kirbyville hadn't seen an offense and defense like ours and a team that plays as physical as we do. Check the scoreboard!! Enough said!!
