Most of what's off with the passing game can be fixed. The only issue I see is consistency. I hear they don't have a qb coach, and that's not good especially when you have a true pocket passer. That run wasn't too shabby either. Lol Passes that were missed yesterday were made later in the game and previous games. Room for improvement is actually good.

Is it that hard to go under center nowadays? Just asking.

I hear the starter was hurt before the U game but tried to play. The backup couldn't get it and the 3rd string finished the game. The 3rd sting started this game and got hurt. They're on their 4th center. That's tough to deal with for any team.

He mishandled 1 or 2 snaps and I haven't heard the kid blame anyone. That 2nd half was a combination of playcalling and team play. They did nothing in the passing or running game at all. I saw a repetition of the same run play called that I'm sure the defense caught on to. It would have been nice to see a few short yardage pass plays to get more of a rhythm.

Sloppy / ugly 2nd half of offense. GP scored 7, but it was really a shutout. Bad snapping gave them a TD. 35-7

Schools that recruit like that should be required to play teams that do the same. Makes no sense to compete in leagues with real local teams.

When they ran it, it did take the D by surprise. I understand every player has to be on the same page though.

Have we seen real tempo play from the Titans? I guess a series here or there, but I expected more tempo than I've seen. I'm not being cynical because they are 3-0, but I was expecting it throughout most of the game. Am I alone?

All jokes aside, United is a talented football team. Predictions are pretty much opinions formed from your previous games played. United has been beaten pretty soundly the last 2 games, Mem has done the beating. Most peoples opinions were formed from that. At the end of the day, kids have to play the game and coaches coach. In most peoples mind, Newton was supposed to demolish a rebuilding WOS. I was at that game. WOS came to play, just like United.

It looked like he called for a fair catch. That's why the kickoff team pulled back. They would have lit him up if they didn't think he called it.

I look at it like this. McMillan HAS to be double teamed and I can say that for May and Evans also. That couldn't be said for previous years. I know they will have better competition past the 2nd round, but it'll take a special o line to contain these boys. Win or lose those boys gone battle. They'll only get better. That's scary.

Yes. The games are meant to be fun for the community. Some people try and relive old so called glory days, and spoil it for others.

People were talking about state with this team, and I was a little reserved, but if they stay healthy, it's a real possibility. They have all the boxes checked. Offense has the potential to be special. The more games played, the better they will get. 5 passing and 5 rushing Tds in 2 games is not bad for an O that's not really clicking. Defense is a close 2nd all time at Memorial behind the 2011 squad. I'll take 18' Dline, 11' linebacking core, secondary is close. 11' would have won state if they were in 5A. Special teams is just good. Great penetration, kick return, punt return, the whole package.
