  1. I agree with your post except for the statement in bold. I'm not a proponent of running a kid to death and possibly having him out when it really matters, ESPECIALLY, when you have the talent at WR that Memorial does. I could understand if that's all they had was a run game. But the pass play calling is really bad. There's thousands of ways you can get a ball to a receiver without throwing it downfield. We choose to be very simple with our pass when we actually have a kid that can get the ball out. When a team blitzes, you should have a signal from qb to wr that tells them we're about to get blitzed, I'm getting the ball out quick, AND IT SHOULDN'T BE A SCREEN PASS. LOL
  2. Comments like some of you make shows us that you don't know any of these kids at all, but are quick to judge them by the way they play football. Football, a sport where the most physical kids succeed; the most ferocious kids succeed; the ones that give too much respect get beat or sit the bench.
  3. Some men are a little more sensitive when it comes to this barbaric sport. Probably never suited up before against Varsity level opponents or played at the next level. Not having an edge gets you beat. Being too respectful gets you beat. Being timid gets you HURT. After the game, you can show all the respect in the world and PAM does that. Think about this; what if a coach said something to KJ. I've seen many games, and I haven't seen him speak to coaches at all. He didn't do it against Houston Westside, not against Central, and not against Ned? I was there.
  4. The kid that took off his helmet was grabbed in the MAN region. lol So, he was upset for a reason.
  5. Sophmore at Memorial. This was in middle school. Last name is Ladia. Probably won't get a chance until his senior year. Some say nxt yr. Who knows.
  6. He's just sensitive about his Mustangs, I guess. It's OK, really its is. He is funny tho. lmao
  7. You missed it. Wow. Regardless of the score. Roschon don't need to apologize for anything. Kid showed more heart than a little bit. He was rattled a bit by the pressure, but who wouldn't with PAM's D and your D1 receiver getting shut down by the #2 Db in the nation. Plus a couple of overthrown balls that would have been easy Tds. Young man is only gonna get better.
  8. It's sports talk buddy. Stop getting overheated over it. SPORTS TALK. People ask hypothetical questions. You don't like the stupid post bro, just move along. No feeling are hurt. Lol
  9. I have a question. What are the green plus numbers for under the profile names? Lol
  10. If they haven't done it in some of the blowouts they've had, I doubt they do it going forward. I heard Jones got quite a few reps too.
  11. Coworker found this for me. Speaking of the future at the qb position at PAM. This was in the 8th grade I beleive. Don't remember man middle school kids given the green light to air it out. Its mostly runs and screens in middle school. Jones would be dynamic at running the ball plus some pasding and this kid has the arm and hopefully be developed at the position. Not sure who'll get the go ahead next yr, but they'll be better than ok, imo.
  12. He was probably talking about the scrimmage RJ wasn't allowed to run. A real game would be different. His running vs PAM made it a close game. He balled out that game. It's not about running a passing for him that game. Along with his passing and running ability, plus being very gifted and talented; he is super competitive, and compared to a lot of Qbs in the area, that separates him from the most.
  13. The PNG/PAM will have the best rivalry in the district, for sure the next 2 more years. Although PNG will get better with the development of Johnson, Memorial could actually be better at the QB position the next 2 yrs also. Nothing compares to the atmosphere of a PNG/NED rivalry game, but the game to watch will be PAM/PNG.
  14. That's what makes sports talk and hypotheticals fun. Nobody is wrong, because its their opinion. Its when we take it personal and get away from real sports talk. I love it.
  15. Agree. Everything is hypothetical when it comes to predictions. If this team does this or does that. lol The games have to be played.
  16. I work with a Caucasian gentleman that has never really been around black people. He told me after 2 wks on the job. And I quote, "Man, you guys are really cool. Not what I was expecting. I was kind of SCARED at first." I asked him why and the response was; " Well, I've always been around people like me, and I just didn't know what to expect." Me- What did you expect? Him- I don't know, I guess what I see on tv. Me- How do you feel about us now? lol Him- You guys have a good time, but a lot of you guys are really NICE. You have your idiots here and there just like ANYWHERE ELSE. Me- All I said was, with black people and the news or in general with some Caucasians, one black man's issue, crime, mistake is a reflection of the whole race. I told him if he robbed a bank, molested a child, bombed a building, became a serial killer; he would be an individual that committed a crime. If I do it, it's a reflection of an entire city and race of people. Me- You were just ignorant to certain things regarding black people, and I know you know the definition of the word ignorant, so I'm not insulting you at all. Him- No, I understand. I understand more now coming to work with you guys everyday.
  17. "It's horrible, most prejudice city I've seen"??????? Post of the Year goes to............................... Renee Zelsdorff-Becerra
  18. So take a wild guess why some PA folk feel the way we feel about SOME across the way. Win for lose, PA folk might blame refs, coaches, soft kids, lol, but doing what these folk are doing has nothing to do with football. It started with a woman saying her husband was mad because a BLACK Woman told him he can't sit his white a** on our side. Can't believe it because I saw at least 10 people with Purple shirts walk through with no problem.
  19. From his twitter acct, I think BG has some stories to tell about convos he heard while on the PNG side. Meanwhile on the PA side, We had quite a few Purple shirts, if they were being targeted or harassed, I believe they wouldn't have stayed for the entire game. Lies and loses can stir up a whole lot of emotions.
  20. ***Mod Edit*** This isn't the place for threads like these. Take it to Facebook if you want to get in discussions with idiots.
  21. Shan D is the oly one I csn think of.
  22. PAM 9th grade B team won 8-0 PNG 9th grade A team won 20-6 PAM JV won 38-16
