Funny story for the Mid County Folks...... Having never lost to Ned in my High School career, one might say I tend to get extremely aggravated when we lose, especially what feels like for 20 years now (Actually 5). Anyway, Im leaving the game with my brother and nephew, and my nephew is trying to talk to me about something, and Im halfway listening due to the fact im upset...... So about this time I hear..... All I do is win win win, being played by the Nederland band....... So i went from mad to a little chuckle...... I thought, these guys are not only prepared on the field, but the band practiced a new song for the victory.... Turned my frown upside down.... LOL.. SO to the Nederland band, I say Thanks.

I personally know 2 teachers at Lumberton.. I also know a few active alumin over that way.  From my understanding it is very difficult todeal with the School District. Ive been told they make everything difficult, from extracurricular activities, to simple stuff like the powder issue. But fron what they say this has been going on for years since Lumberton was ranked one of the cleanest towns in Texas. Hate to hear about the whole powder deal..Its kinda funny how things work nowadays. Starting with paryaer and ending with school spirit.. One person gripes, then another, then the power of social media, and bam, your in trouble for throwing baby powder.. I could think of a TON of worse things a high school kid could be doing on a Friday night besides throwing powder at a football game. Hate it for the kids........

Saw a piece if the replay on time warner...one day, someone is gonna be watching this game and wondering who in the heck Nederland was playing in those gray and white uniforms??? Just doesn't look like png to me.

Great game played by both sides and that's what makes this rivalry the best around, period....we are just in a phase of this thing right now where png needs to make some adjustments if they expect to beat the Dogs....my assessment is that Nederland currently just has created a "tougher" program that just has more nasty in it than png does...fancy offenses, alternate uniforms, 7 on 7 success, nice facilities and the sort are very nice, but these games come down to who can put their hand in the dirt and hit somebody in the mouth while taking some shots themselves....both teams played their guts out, Nederland just had a little more...this was another game that png could have easily won on paper, but these Nederland teams just seem to grind it out, fight like hell and refuse to be denied...congrats Dogs on another amazing win! These kids were not gonna let png be the ones to end Nederlands streak against the district and against the Indians, especially not on their field...png will be fine in district with maybe the exception if the central game...central a speed may give them fits but that will be another good one

Now this is a post I like.... You won me over at Bass Boat...... Wife and kids are a given..... I like the Crosby posters as well. One good group of kids and they are the giants of this board.... Dan was always loaded with crazy talent, Neumann tends to win and adjust to whatever talent he has.. Seay showed tonight why he is the best QB in the district. I would tend to think after getting momentum for the first time in the night that a ONSIDE kick is extremely bonehead.. But the BF lovers will soon forget about that. It seems PNG fans are fine with losing to Nederland year in year out. But as long as we make it to the playoffs all is forgotten. I laugh because every year you hear wait till those sophomores get up there, or wit till those freshman get up there... Guess what?? It's the same result.. However I will say congrats to Nederland. Class act.... I will also say as I watched the final minutes from the fence, I'm ashamed to see the student section throwing all kinds of stuff on the field in defeat... The faculty and principles where out trying to clean the mess up ? That's from my own eyes.. So people posting about how that didn't happen open up your eyes...
