I had dinner with a longtime Jasper ISD board member a few years back and he’s the one that pointed out to me that intangible. Jasper kids give up. They are a good team when they’re rolling over somebody... but they fold up at the first sign of actual adversity. Other than the 2015 game against us, I can’t remember a single close game in which Jasper came out on top. It’s why they’ve had all of that talent and never cashed in during December. That’s something that you can’t figure into polls. I don’t blame the kids... it’s a mentality. If you get beat by your rival, just stop scheduling them.

Bc goes through bad spells... there are a lot of reasons why, but it’s just one of those runs where we aren’t very competitive. I think mathematically they aren’t out yet, but it’s improbable.

First off, jasper didn’t, and in my opinion wouldn’t beat West Orange this year. So it’s hard for me to say what I would say in that instance. However, I can say that if WOS got beat by an unranked 3A team, I wouldn’t be calling for them to win region in 4A.

You guys were unranked when y’all beat #2 ranked Jasper. Anytime #2 ranked 4A team drops a game to an unranked 3A team, it’s embarrassing. You guys have a good team and should go several rounds in the 3A playoffs, IMO. Jasper, however, had proven year in and year out (but especially this year) that they should never be spoken of in the same breath as teams like WOS and Silsbee. Jasper has played one good team this year and lost. “Our” refs and players are dirty? What kinda women are y’all out there? First of all, any football fan knows that there is no such thing as “our” refs. And if that bunch of softies that are suiting up for us this year managed ti hurt some of your players’ and parents’ feelings on the field, I’m kinda worried about y’all’s toughness. And it kinda makes me think that y’all may only be a couple of points better than that sorry Jasper team.

I’m not buying it.... Jasper is a soft team. Let’s look at who they’ve played. BC (1-6) We stink LiCk’eM (5-2) but those are wins over terrible teams Diboll (3A that hurt Jasper’s feelings) Lamarque (4-4) but not a quality win Shepherd (2-6) Huntington (1-7) Jasper will win their horrible district after playing all of the cupcakes that Barbrady schedules for non-district, then they’ll be shocked when they get sent home by the first semi-decent team they face in the playoffs. BC isn’t a good team... I’ll admit it. BUT JASPER HASN’T GOTTEN ANY DEEPER THAN BC IN THE PLAYOFFS SINCE WE SHUT YALL OUT IN THE SECOND ROUND IN 2005. So, if we stink and y’all can’t do any better than us, what does that make Jasper? Talk some smack when y’all get a ring, losers. It’s better to be a has-been than a never-was.

So how much time did Diboll have to prepare for #2 ranked Jasper? Jasper folds under pressure.

Sorry.... I was just mixing it up a little. In the past I've accused JISD buses of going west to Woodville and then south to Lumberton just to avoid driving through Silsbee. And I accused Officer Barbrady of canceling the elementary school's spelling BEE just to avoid any negative reactions. But I am glad that Mrs. Barbray has you to take up for her. I'm not sure her old man would, lol. ^satire.....just a joke.... calm down.....^ Why do y'all make me act like this? Jeez.

Upper number for 4A D2 was 789 at last realignment. BC turning in 796 today. It would be nice if we could drop down to 4A D2, but I have a bad feeling we'll just stick around as the smallest school in 4AD1. Once more, I'd rather be out-athleted by Silsbee and WOS that sat on by a bunch of fat kids in Lumberton, Livingston, Splendora, Huffman, etc....

I think it’s only going to get worse. Higher taxes from the bond issue make it harder for young families (you know, the ones with school-aged kids) to afford housing inside NISD.

Oh my gosh! Your dad was the pipeline welder and your mom had special needs but still became a teacher! I definitely didn’t badmouth your folks... I’m proud of all that they accomplished in spite of all of the hardships they’ve faced in addition to having an absolute tool for a kid. I don’t know how they did it.

Do you know what they crime is committed when someone files a lawsuit that is full of half truths and whole lies? I'll give you a hint... it isn't a crime. Any person can walk into a district clerk's office in any county in the state of Texas and file a suit alleging that aki1994 knew about a rape and by your own belief system you should be fired from whatever job you hold that very day and never allowed to work again. Period. No questions asked. Why do you suppose that Baylor scratched a check to Briles for 15 million dollars? Do you really thing that a University with one of the MOST prestigious law schools in the country and deep-pocketed alumni is scared of the prospect of a lawsuit? Ha! The only thing that Baylor was scared of is how much money Briles would have received if they had actually made it to court... so they settled for $15 million based on the wrongs that were done to him. Why do you suppose a man with all of his earnings, plus a $15 million dollar settlement would be coaching kids out in Mr. Vernon, Texas? Because he really, REALLY wants to make sure that you men are still provided an opportunity to gang rape dozens and dozens of women per year? Or because he's a coach and a teacher.... and a fine one at that. I just hope that you are never treated as badly as you treat others. Hypocrite.
