I hope your right, and while I'm 100% sure Biden won't seek re-election (I'm not sure he finishes this term), the jury is still out on Trump. There's a large group of his followers, and a large group that can't stand him but won't stand up to him because they don't want to anger the red-hatted fools. It's going to be a dem win if Trump runs, regardless of whether Trump gets the R nomination, in my opinion, anyways. Here's a thought... the Presidential Order of Succession. You obviously have Biden as President.... but he's not promised tomorrow. Then you have Kamala Harris as VP who would step in as POTUS if Biden was no longer able to fill the role and that's where it gets interesting. If Harris became VP, then the Speaker of the House (Pelosi) would move into the VP slot. BUT, if the House flips back to a Republican majority this fall, after Jan 1 a Republican would be in line for VP if Biden falters. I wonder if we'll see movement in November of this year to have Biden step out, Kamala become President (what a feather in Biden's cap!) and Pelosi installed as VP before the new Speaker is sworn in after the first of the year... it would make a lot of sense because it's so likely that Biden won't finish his first term. They already had a bad experience on the Supreme Court with RBG hanging around too long and it costing them a spot. Just something I thought of.

Well, now it seems like Trump took highly classified information about our nuclear weapons systems from the white house and refused to give them back. Kinda scary when the guy just tried to subvert our free and fair election process by orchestration an attack on the Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power. why did Trump take the nuke codes with him?

So…. Biden sent the fbi to get Trump…. But the same thing would have happened if Trump had been elected because they’ve all been after him from day one? or maybe he’s just crooked?

So why didn't Trump declassify these before he was run out of town on a rail?

The thing is this... we're completely polarized because both sides have seen their side savaged by the other side over and over. You're upset that Trump's house got raided. Carter got savaged over performance. Reagan had Iran/Contra and dementia. Clinton got investigated over a real estate deal (not convicted) but finally was impeached over lying about an affair with an intern. Then you had the "Little Bushy" show on TV about a sitting president while we were actively fighting a war abroad. Then you get into the way that Republicans 100% dug in to oppose anything presented by Obama, complete with "Michelle's a man" jokes and all of Obama's weaponizing of the IRS/Justice Department... Then you had a President who ran promising to have his opponent thrown into prison if he got elected....which takes us right into Trumps twin impeachments, an attempt to stop the peaceful transfer of power, now a climate where we all show up and chant "FJB" at football games and ransack former presidents' houses under the "color" of law. It's escalating and we all feel completely justified because "they did ________ to us first!" It's going to keep escalating until something stops it. Civil War? An assassination? A galvanizing fight with an outside force ala 9/11? But something has to give.

Wait... that was just trying to fix the stolen election. You know, the one that was proven to be stolen by the piles and piles of evidence that the Republicans brought forward. Except for the last part. And the first part. Or any part. Because "The Big Steal" was really just "The Big Lie" packaged up and sold to the underinformed voters like the rest of the MAGA merch.

My feeling is that this whole incident is created to distract our outrage from the new 1.3 Trillion dollar tax and spend legislation that was signed into law yesterday. It's horrible timing as far as our current inflationary status, but the Ds are worried that they won't have control of all three branches after the first of the year. You know, "green energy" and the so-called "climate crisis" that has to be dealt with, lol.

I don’t know… I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out that Trump did something else that was basically thumbing his nose at the establishment. But wouldn’t be surprised if the whole thing was an political hit piece, either. I guess the big difference between me and so many others is that I prefer to withhold judgement until more is known. My “lock him up” wasn’t literal… it’s just a jab at his supporters.

It's comical how this morning all of the Trumpkins are calling for Congress to defund the Justice Department and FBI... Defund the.... where have I heard that before? Listening to the red-hatted fools is like mining for cartoon gold.

Why do you keep saying this when you know it’s an impossibility? Even if they wanted to run together, they can’t win without FLA.

We agree… I don’t want to live in a country where we prosecute former leaders for political reasons. That’s some third-world garbage. Thats why I thought it was extremely dangerous when Trump promised to do it. And those folks in the middle aren’t going to rally to trump over this. They’re all still just tired of the whole mess. The good news is that if the media continues to focus on trump, they’ll have a lot less time to hone in on the rest of the 2024 GOP presidential candidates.

All of y’all were at Trump rallies chanting “Lock her up!!!! Lock her up!!!!” and now you’re all crying like a little girl with a skinned knee. The karma and irony are delicious. Do y’all remember me saying that Trump was gonna spend the rest of his life in courtrooms? I’m just surprised it took this long. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! Y’all never figured out that “America First” was just a slogan to entice weak-minded voters (easily identified by their red hats) into electing a guy who was actually all about wanting the power that money can’t buy-the Presidency.

There are a lot of guys that would make a decent President. There aren't nearly as many skirts that could take on that role. Political beliefs aside, Hillary had the best credentials of any female candidate up until now. Still didn't want her as president, though.
