Oh I know. We went as the 3rd place team that yr. I was just making reference to the fact that with a 2-8 record, we shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near the playoffs.

Might as well get this going. We're still licking our wounds from the thumping Woodville gave us, but in no way giving up on the year. This game could have several implications. It could be a battle for 2nd and 3rd place in district...or set things up for a 3 way tie at the top. I'm of course picking my Cats to win this (by 2 scores btw) but I'm also thinking Woodville will beat the Trojans too, which would put us in 2nd place in district.

Great sportsmanship from Ryker and Wildcatbacker. Kirbyville will rebound and be back, don't give up on them !! We are just on a hot streak and hope we can keep it going I have watched a lot of K ville playoff games in the last 8 yrs....they will be back. Dang that turf and field looks as good as the Eagles right now ?? I'm hearing now that Buna has a QB that's 6'5" 360 and runs a 4.3 ?? I've had fun with this blog and good luck to K ville the rest of the season. Cmon Eagle 32 you got to find the faith dude, you cant be scared in football.

Woodville is much better than anybody expected. MUCH better. Nobody over estimated Kirbyville, we all waaaaaay UNDER estimated Woodville. Enjoy this win Eagles. This was yalls game from start to finish. We had 2 sure TD passes that our QB over threw, and then he also throws the interception taken back for a TD just before half. But even if you factor in those mistakes, we still lose easily. Woodville, congratulations. You have a heck of a team this yr. Enjoy it. It feels good don't it? Lol

You must be outside your mind if you think Woodville is going to beat KV by 40 points.  

Kirbyville should run the fastcat offense and wear out those big boys for Woodville......I hope. Lol

This will be a tight game until kickoff, then kirbyville will dig in and pull away with the win.

Temps are supposed to be really cool for the game, plus clear skies. Nice to know weather won't be a factor. Unless the cool snap has the players distracted thinking about hunting season. 

I believe the district championship will be decided in Woodville, but will ride the bus home with Kirbyville

I see people make this claim a lot when they lose. My response is and always will be......Maybe they'd beat us, maybe not. We'll never know. One thing's for sure though....they did beat Woodville.

You're absolutely right. Can't knock you for saying that, because I know I'd say the same exact thing if roles were reversed lol

I'm ready to make my pick now. I think this is going to be an amazing game as I said in my earlier post! Should be an all offensive affair (Yes I know they both have good defenses but they both have even BETTER offenses) I look for less 3 or less punts total. I think it will come down to the wire in the final minutes of the game with the final score being

You and your buddy longball need to get on the same page. He was suggesting this mythical 6'4"...320...4.9 player plays for Woodville, not us. Lmao... He said we should be worried. These 2 offenses will be very tough to contain for an entire night. There's just too much speed from both sides. That's why I'm thinking it'll be high scoring but who knows...this could very well end up being a defensive battle. I sure hope not though. Lol.. Those games can get boring. Not to mention nerve wracking. 

There's a difference between having swagger and telling a very good football team they have no chance. That's how people end up looking stupid on Saturday mornings.
