  1. You don't even have a clue! Not the same team at all but you just keep on thinking that. And we have heard that greatest fans in the world before, but you guy's take a 'L' Saturday night and we will see how long it takes the fans to turn on the coach.
  2. Just don't forget about Rachel Raye's Cook Book How to cook crow meals in 30 minuets. You may need it!
  3. I think the announcer said it best it took a host of Panthers to bring him down. Oh yea and that chunky little back can cover 40 yards before you can say stop ;D
  4. It's way to early to start getting to worried, besides all Matt has to do is put up one good game against NHS and his position will be secure ;D
  5. I think some folks have a crow cook book from the food network. They just can't wait for the season to start so they can break out their favorite recipe and cook up a little crow to eat. After many years of watching HS football I think the team with the largest number on the board will win. With Hooks and Neumann on the sideline, don't go to the concession stand because you may miss something!
  6. I don't know where they would put those people. It will be a packed house on a Friday night. Who knows where we will all park. I hope I don't get towed. I wish I could remember the name, but there is a new security company across from First Baptist on Nederland Ave. A long walk for WO-S fans, but that is where we go for home games. I don't mind the walk and most of all you easily avoid traffic. Infrastruct Security, 1824 Nederland Ave.
  7. Nederland @ home August 16 (Sat) Silsbee 7:00 Nederland @ home August 21 (Thurs) Jasper 8:00
  8. Well I guess in light of all the important stuff like who is going to win MCM a little math tutoring could fill in a rather boring day. But when week 0 gets here put up the calculator and get the noise makers out because the only thing people will care about then is who has the biggest number on the board.
  9. If you don't like Who let the Dogs out, go to the Rez and listen to Cherokee 80 times a game!
  10. This should be like most of the NHS / WOS match-ups. I don't think you will see the same offense you saw last year from the Dogs. WOS is always strong on defense. I don't think you are going to stop our offense all night long so mark this one down as a potential good one. Get your tickets early and don't be late, you may miss something.
  11. All quarterbacks can throw pretty good in the warmups before the game. But only the good ones can throw when they are being chased. All 7 on 7 does is keep the timing of the QB and receivers going.
  12. Yea Proud there is one thing you can count on in MC, pay backs can be real nice ;D
  13. I think everyone knows that the more sports you play, the more skills you develop. That is not any issue. So what is the issue?
  14. Brian Sanches was a great all around athlete for Nederland, he played several sports. In college he specialized in Baseball and is now chunking for the Washington Nationals. Did it hurt him to play several sports in HS, I don't think so!
  15. Nope, football is a 365 day topic, other sports just fill in the boring days between years!
  16. I like Krautz's running, don't know how he would be for a full time back, but he should get the opportunity to try after this years running game. That is unless we have someone better waiting for the season to start!
  17. The truth is if you are into athletics only you will never see the side of the academics, if you are on the academics side you probably will never "get" the athletics side. But the reality is we need both. If you want to have a great educational system you need them all. I have been on teams that wrote system software that forced me to use all that I learned in school. The coaches taught me how to be a member of a team and how to work with people that sometimes I really didn't care about but to win I had to learn to get along with. Teachers taught me how to think logically and how to work with numbers. You use all that in programming. Who taught me the most important lessons? That's hard to say, because I still use them all to this day. We need them all and who should get paid the most is hard to say because life is not fair (learned that from a coach, the best team doesn't always win) some people get raises and some don't, but life has a way of equalizing everything in the end.
  18. They should be applauded for not thinking about this to much. Some times waiting can be bad. There aren't many like Neumann around and it could take years to replace a good coach if you lose one.
  19. I second that emotion! I am glad they didn't wait around and lose a good man!
  20. Nope, you can read it at PAN [Hidden Content]
  21. According to the PAN he has 92,000 good reasons for staying! He deserves it!
  22. Nederland tickets have all been sold. They said none would be available at the gate!
  23. Try multiplying those numbers by 2 or 3 and you will get a more realistic number of temporary workers coming into this area! Permanent jobs will be substantially less, but still large enough numbers to make a change in some areas.
  24. Grogan only took a blocked punt back for 6 and sacked the QB for a safety so you may not want to just focus on DJ.
