Any win is good, but hguys did not look that tight. They missed alot of shots. I don't think they felt all that challenged. When Lumberton got close they turned it on some. Hopefully we will turn it up on Friday!

We are as good as anyone in the district with our running game and run defence, but bring in a good passer and receiver combo and you know the outcome! > You are correct. I agree that if Vidor had a better QB/WR combo that the game might have been different, but just think how good Nederland would be if we had some semblance of a defense! Wow this was interesting. Now for my opinion. Nederland won the game fairly. We gave them a good game, but could not defend the pass. They have a good offence, but we did a good job against the run. That one 80 yard run should have not decided the game. We should have been ahead early, but when Nederland wanted to move the ball they just aired it out! If it had been running game against running game we would have had them hands down, but it was not and here we are again not going to the playoffs. The refs were bad, but I don't blame them for the loss. Bottom line Nederland played well and deserves what they got! As much as it hurts me to admit it. ;D Good luck in the playoffs and remember, Vidor is mostly Juniors!!!!! Next year wll be another interesting year.

I agree with you and coming out in the first half like we did last night. We came out and punched PN-G in the mouth and didn't let them get into any kind of rhythm. Held on to the football and stayed with the game plan. Good call coach, unlike what was going on by the officials! Hold on to the ball and play two half instead of one! :
