Robie pitched about 2 innings and then Fontnot and another pitcher that I can't remember his name pitched. I got the impression the coach was saving his #2 and #3 pitchers in that game.

meaning? are you saying he does the best he can with what he has, which isn't much talent in your opinion? Ozen has one of the best raw pitchers in the area! Not to mention a short stop that could start for any team in the state! I just have to say this. I have nothing but respect for the players and coaches and fans from OZEN. You guys are a great team in a tough district! What a game!!!!! I am just glad I stayed until 11:00.....

It is not. If you are tied you must play the next day. Any speculation as to who will end up where at second and third is just that. It could end up in a three way tie. LCM/Vidor, Ned., Ozen. How about that double header on Saturday. Sounds like fun, but hopefully we will be watching a playoff from the sidelines! Of course it would be because we had already clinched! One more note, bring on Lott! Our destiny is in our own hands not in OZENS. If we come to play, we have the talent to beat any team on any given night! Again, it is ours to win or loose!

I agree with some of that, first who said that Lott was Ozen ace,second I dont think Ozen fans are taking no team lightly, if I can remember, we only beat lumberton by one point the last time we played them, which it could have went either way. Sorry, but I thought it was obvious Lott was their ACE. He is a great pitcher no doubt!

OK PNG is in no doubt! The way I understand it Vidor should also be guaranteed a spot. LCM could still drop out. PNG has 2 losses so if they lost the next two they would have only 4 losses for the season. This guarantees them a spot. Vidor has 3 losses and if we lost the last 2 we would have 5 losses. Since Nederland lost today, they have 5 losses along with Dayton. If Nederland and dayton win out they will both have 5 losses, but since Vidor beat both of them twice we would be in, so as I see it we are in without a doubt. LCM has 4 losses so if they loose the next 2 they would have 6 losses this still gives Nederland and Dayton some hope although very slim. How is my math? Comments?

I am weighing in just because someone stated that we disappeared after a loss. Good game PNG! I just wish we could have held the errors down to a minimum. Now we have to get it together for OZEN and then LCM!
