I agree with you. It appears that each team in the GT has made some good changes. I haven't heard much about Livingston, but 20-4A will be a very tough district this year. Whoever makes this playoffs will be battle tested and have a lot to be proud of. I seems that Livingsoto gets left out of these discussions. I am sure they have internet up in Livingston right? ;D

I thought that earlier this summer as well, when the rumor was that Bellows was not going to play and focus only on baseball. But with the best QB in 20-4A coming back? No way they are left out. Plus I believe Lovelace (sp?) will be bruising it up like their running back (his name escapes me at the moment -- was it Grogan?) did last year. Expect the same look from the Bulldogs this year. And, while PN-G may look better under their new coach, no one goes from zero to hero in one year. I see PN-G getting 4 wins or so in route to building up a strong program again though. (And before you Indian faithful say we have pulled a zero to hero this year, compare our records last year. Vidor has built up to this year off last year's program.) His name was Grogan, but I seem to remember he was not that affective against us last year. It was Bellows and Cardinas that beat us. Hopefully we will be able to defend the pass better than last year!

No prediction here. I am pulling for the Orange county boys, but I just don't know what Nederland has this year. Kirby will be really good, but what will the rest of the team look like? ???

I have to say I agree with the top 2. I also think Lumberton will be in there somewhere. Actually I don't have a problem with any of the picks. At this point one is as good as the next! ;D

I bet Coach Alvarez would love to have Vidor on our schedule. Sounds like a plan. Why don't you and the two coaches get together and make it happen next year!

Whats sad is i dont think the majority of this thread is even vidor fans! lol Your right it's only the same three Vidor fans...myself, Rusted ans the picture with the orange mustang(sorry your name slips my mind) the rest are mainly out of town. But Vidor is causing the uproar on here...not the other people who are posting on this thread saying Vidor played well..just the Vidor fans. Come on Pirate for life should be easy to remember! Thanks Griff you said exectly what I have been trying to say. We here in Vidor have not been saying we are going to win district although we would love to! We are just excited to have a good team that has the potential to do it. This should be a good year for us although looking at the outcome of all of the other "practices" there will be a few other good teams also! Of course you guys will do great! You always do. It is just nice here in Vidor to have some real hope.

Let me give you some friendly advice. Don't go after moderators > , you could be sitting out for the season. Wow aren't we all here to just have a little fun? Seems like that was a serious threat. Seems like we all need to lighten up a little.

Doty is the QB and will start. I have no idea if there are plans to rotate Desmond in or not. Why should any of this matter anyway? It is just a practice right?

Lets see if we can push it to 21! This needs to be said. Since Vidor looked great it was a practice and of no importance. If we had lost it would have proved that Vidor is all talk just llike every year right? Many people just like to beat up on Vidor. Hopefully we will start earning some respect from outside sources, but win or loose we support our team! 8)
