I don't think anyone will take you guys for granted. I for one am still waiting to see what the new offence will look like. No doubt it will be a surprise to go from last year back to the playoff so quickly this year, but the jury is still out!

Tell me they looked good after they play Central, Lumberton, Nederland, PN-G.......... When they've beaten the upper echelon of 20-4A, then I'll give them KUDOS! So far, they haven't beaten anybody. I for 1 can't wait for district. One way or the other!!!!

Coop explain this for me please? Are you saying that Vidor is not as good as you thought? Or WOS is better than you thought? Help me with this. ??? From what I've seen in some of Coop's earlier posts, when WO-S loses a scrimmage then it no longer matters ... so much for building of the team, technique, offensive playcalling, defensive playcalling, tweaking of routes, etc... I think scrimmages are important for ALL of this. What do you think, Pirate For Life? I agree cutlass! Either way you look at it we took it to a really good WOS team. It is funny everyone gives Nederland credit no matter how good or bad they do. If they do good they are just that good. If they do bad they were playing a really good team. It may be that Nederland is just not that good this year. Could it happen? :o

No disrespect, as I have stated I like Central, but you guys beat us by 1 point last year. During that game we missed 2 field goals and an extra point or two. We are a better team this year by far and it remains to be seen if you guys are better. I have to say that I have not seen Central play yet. Have you seen the Pirates? Either way it will be a good game. I just have to believe that we will run over you guys with the Wing T as we have all oponents so far! If you come at us with an air attack hopefully we will be raedy. The coach will have a few more weeks to work on the pass defence. Said all that to say this. BRING IT! ;D

That's an outright lie. I'm not from Kelly, but that is a lie. There were no parents saying that stuff. Actually, i've heard it from MANY reliable people that were on that side and heard it for themselves... I'm not disagreeing with you in the least bit. But the Kelly chanting was provoked by the vidor stands shouting vulgar insults to Kelly players on the sidelines. OK I hate to be the voice of reason but, Lets get back to talking about the game. There will aways be stupid people in the world. It does not matter what community you are in. Enough said! Great game though!

I agree about the concern. I think it is all about pass defence. And we need one! I still think we can stop the run and we can run at will. We just have to be concerned with a good QB. Kelly has a good QB but we seemed to be getting better at defending him as the game rocked on. We also need to work on catching the ball for an interseption. The ball hit several Pirates in the hands and they could not get a handle on it. Remember though this is the first game of the season and the coach held off on another score by downing the ball on the 1 yard line at the end. One more think. Kelly you have a great team! You guys will go far this year! My prediction!!!
