This particular umpire called the runner out and ejected him. 

Yes high school rules spurger vs hull. That's what I said especially since the whole reason he dove over him was because he was trying to avoid contact because the pitcher fell as he caught the ball and was laying on top of the plate. The umpire called him out and ejected him from the game. 

Question? You have a runner on 3rd the pitcher throws a wild pitch and the runner from 3rd goes home. The catcher gets the ball and throws the ball to the pitcher covering home. The pitcher arrives at the plate and catches the ball at the same time the runner from 3rd gets there. The runner superman dives over the pitcher. There is a descrepency in wether the tag was made or not but that's not the question. The question is should the runner he ejected from the game????? No contact was made other than if the pitcher did get the tag in.

I heard they are not. Idk what they are looking for.

Plus they are waiting for Coach Mixon to come back and no doubt he is a great coach but they had a chance to hire a guy that had made 9 state tournament appearances in 17 years and 6 consecutive appearances. There isn't anyone that can compete with that resume not even Mixon as good as he is.

Passing on that kinda coach hoping that one that left will come back is a dangerous game. You put all ur eggs in that basket and Mixon doesn't come back then what you have. Another one like you have had since Mixon left. By the way lets take joe blow off the street for a year and then hope Mixon comes back. That's the right thing to do for the upcoming seniors.

From what I heard they have a applicant that is one of the best in texas. 

What is going on in Jasper. We have been hearing about this guy they are supposed to hire and we were supposed to find out who it was Wednesday and then it go pushed back until today and yet still no word. The time period for people to get out of their contracts is running out and yet Jasper seems to have made no move. What is the deal.

Pretty impressive performance from #8 who hasn't gotten much practice in the circle. 3 hits and 3 walks in 5 innings is a pretty good night. Also had great moral support coming from #7 as she was a good team player. Good job girls.
