The Dayton freshman came out tough last night against Channelview. Looks like they are off to a good start. This squad is gonna be too much for Crosby and way too much for the hill. 48-40 Broncos.

When Dayton starts coaching the players the way they should be coached and place them in the proper positions instead of all the favortisms we will not go any further in play. The problem even starts in jr high though. There were players on the the sidelines who never got the chances they deserved, just to in return, cost ball games. So the problems go deep. Back on the high school level, when you are up 10-0 and right before the half, the coach makes the call to knee the ball, your coaching way to soft, so there is problems deep, will we ever have them fixed, doubt it.

I could care less about Dayton winning or loosing, I just stumbled on this thread and I do know quite a bit about both teams, I have been amused at this whole "attack" on the poor Broncos. Yall have a good tradition of winning there, but part of that is because traditionally there is no competition outside of Barbers Hill and Crosby. You have been to the playoffs 18 years in a row and one state appearance to show for it. That should tell you all you need to know.

If you could care less who wins one way or the other but you keep posting about the broncos then your team must already be knocked outta the playoffs or you have a lot of time on your hands. You ain't bothering us, flap your gums.

The only butts that's gonna be hurting is y'all's because when the MIGHTY BRONCOS get through with the spanking they will hand out even the fans will fill it on the way home.

It is a good feeling to know that the Broncos have several options and can still win a hell of playoff game with those options. Some teams would have folded, but the Dayton Broncos know what it takes, so let's get the job done Friday night at the Veterans stadium and shut the haters up once again.

The term 4.4 speed is used a bit much. Personally we all know the coaches who time these are a little quick to hit that stop button when they are boosting a kids confidence. My son ran a 4.7 in 40 and was second in the area in the 200 last year. He beat the brakes off of several kids that were 4.4. Give me football fast and savy any day. Mcbride made some lightening quick moves last Friday night when kids were in position to make tackles. That's the offense Dayton ran because their QB was hurt and heck, PNG couldn't stop it. I personally think Dayton is a better offense with #7 at QB with Mcbride being used as a slot and RB, but I'm not their coach and don't watch film.

The talk about who ran what actually started this past summer at several college football camps. And the coaches that clicked the stopwatch wouldn't have anything to gain by stopping it a little quicker on some. And plus those coaches are used to speed.

You are comparing apples to oranges, last year, and two teams that aren't the same this year. George Ranch and Brenham are both different this year and you just made my point about McBride, he is yall's offense.

You Dayton people sure are touchy, no one is taking Dayton lightly yall are a great team, just saying that yall have trouble stopping teams that have speed, PNG is a good team I would say above average but one round is all they were supposed to go and yall barely beat them.
