  1. It's a blessing in disguise. Should make the players hungry to prove something.
  2. Lol. Well maybe I should retire now. Finish my head coaching career 1-0
  3. Houston Awty 53 Kelly 94 Final C. Broussard 22 J. Kraemer 18 T. Baker 12 D. Richard 10 P. Pierre 10 O. Nwaobi 10 Kelly goes to 18-7 (2-2)
  4. No they are from Houston. CHSM stands for Christian Homeschool Ministries
  5. CHSM 47 Kelly 80 John Kraemer 23, Cannon Broussard 15 & Dareiyus Richard 14.
  6. No that's Ogo Nwaobi. David Ray is #20. Just stated the game. Village was 21-24 from the free throw line. Not gonna lose many games doing that!
  7. John and Tevin play at the top of our dribble drive offense. Last night it was mainly John and David Ray...soph transfer....and sometimes Cannon. Not having Tevin hurt us because we needed his 12 points per game and ability to get to the free throw line. Only positive is that the others learned to play without him a little. Thankfully we will have him for Fridays game at St. Pius.
  8. I believe they are 17-1 now. Have some big wins on their resume...RCHA, SATCH, Sterling. But have some easy wins too. No excuses...but being short a starter hurts us pretty bad.
  9. After watching Memorial up close this past weekend, I would say they are probably the favorite to win district imo. Reminds me a little of Silsbee in that they are very deep and athletic. And they have improved a lot since the beginning of the season when I watched them at the Fred Williams. Adding Valsin from football helps them a lot too.
  10. They are used to it. Especially our returning starters. They have been playing without subs for 3 and 4 years now.
  11. #5 Edwards finished with 11. Stansberry and Thomas both had 17 but the real story of the game was on the offensive glass where they had a 20-6 advantage. Defensive boards were 20-18. Marion is the 4th ranked 5A school in Louisiana with all 5 starters returning from last years team who lost in the state championship game. No excuses about playing in 2 games in the same day or only having 5 players touch the floor for us. We will use this to prepare for district play. Tonight's match up in the championship game between Marion and Memorial will be a fast paced, fun game to watch. Don't miss that!
