Silsbee is going to have to hit the ball!! to stay in this game. I doubt they will see Shugart on the mound. Im not sure who Silsbee will throw?

Nice win Silsbee ! Both teams looked young and had some costly errors. Sungren looked sharp on the mound for 5 innings, Dunn looked good coming in and closing. Silsbee had some big hits at the right time !

Young group should be very interesting district this year.

Wonder who will be on the bump for Silsbee  ? Partain, Sungren, or Dunn. Should be a pitchers duel

Silsbee pitching stepped up and threw the ball .. Looks like Silsbee has a few young guns . Can't wait for the future . Nice clutch hitting also. Well done tigers

Made it to a couple of the scrimmages. Not looking to bad !!  Have a couple of kids with live arms. But are very young. Defense looked solid. 

Silsbee will have a rough year. But future looks bright Sop. Partain and Sungren will carry most of the work load most likely. Have a few freshman that could have to step up quickly

Congrats. That is an extremely talented group of kids.

Why?... Kids are bigger and stronger. They train harder then years past. You can strengthen every muscle in the body but you cant strengthen ligaments. I have to agree with rake 100% and sometimes kids are just unlucky , bad mechanics , colder weather , not warming up properly. 

I thought the confrontation was with the Uzzle kid but I could be wrong. I agree with you AAW. If my kid would have argued with the ump I would have yanked his chain right there infront of everyone :D 

_{The kid ejected was from BC. And i honestly dont think he did anything. Ump seemed to be on a power trip or something. He tossed his helmet towards the dug out headed out towards the field cause a kid was bringing his stuff. very unfair for the young man}

Your right Silsbee hasnt lived up to the hype. Buna played good ball and executed when needed, Silsbee did not, to many missed bunts and scoreing opportunitys. Yes Silsbee is missing some players on the pitching staff due to injurys and some other defensive players that will make huge impacts to the team. Still no excuse for not getting the job done on execution :huh:

Leblanc is the best catcher. Hands down

Silsbee is pretty deep in pitching 4 Sr and a couple of freshamn that I say you could throw out there against anyone ..IMO

Both teams looked solid Silsbee look strong at the plate and in the field. Kountze looked strong with pitching after Franklin and Marshall their gonna need to tighten up. Kountze's energy was great to watch. Watched some of the JV games Kountze will be solid for few years. Silsbee will have a couple of down years. Both teams had solid freshman on varsity. Kountze catcher looked pretty sharp and even though the freshman that came in to pitch later in the game had a rough outing. Really didnt look to bad. Silsbee's Partain looked good at the plate and in the field and Sungren lead off the game with a hit and looked solid at the plate. All the freshman should make an impact on their teams. best of luck to both teams this year.

Silsbee has a few freshman. I was hopeing to see them throw against Kountze some. Both teams to me looked pretty solid. Kountze Should do very well Franklin boy looked sharp as well as Marshall. I would like to see the game played in better conditions and an actual game. I would still take Silsbee. Hitting and defense is just all around better.
