Coach Carter is a good guy. A couple years ago my son dominated PNG. He found him in the parking lot along with Assnt coach Ab and told my son good game and praised him. These guys didn’t have to do that. They were straight up great guys and respect the game and all players. My .02 Hats off to PNG, they brought it to the Hill this year. Two great programs, as well as Nederland. Nothing but respect from us.

BH beat Summer Creek 9-2 to win the tournament. Improves to 6-0 I think. Boys getting after it this year.

BH beat Manvel 1-0 BH beat Clear Creek 5-2 another strong performance for the Eagles.

He’s only a Junior. Kid has a high ceiling. He’s legit.

Lol, not sure on that. I watched the game at BH a week ago and that was the first thing I noticed was no big man. I don’t know what happened in this game. Lol I was just giving an observation

Memorial don’t have a big man. They’re basically a team full of shooting guards. That’s going to hurt them come playoffs.

I don’t see anything changing. I think they split into two divisions East and West for some sports. Baseball and basketball will be better then the Southland. I still don’t understand the move though. East- LU, SH, SFA, ACU, UTRGV, Tarleton West- NM St, Dixie St, Utah Valley, Southern Utah, GCU, Cal Baptist, Seattle

How many coaches BU have? I counted like 7 coaches on the bench. Just curious, I haven’t seen that many at HS level.

If Crosby can get the passing game going, IMO they blow Huntsville out. Running may be a struggle, but there were numerous chances for BH, but WR dropped passes. I think Crosby rolls Huntsville.

BH way over matched. I will say I misspoke on saying Huntsville was like Manvel. Their offense isn’t very good, but defense is pretty dang good. BH may never cross the 50 in this game.

I still think BH has a chance though. Huntsville has a tendency to have a lot of penalties. I’m going with upset BH 28-21

Lol, have you seen them? Last year BH was a lot better then this year team. Huntsville looks pretty impressive with a huge line, decent QB, good RB, and WR that nobody in our district could handle. That’s without talking about their defense. Last year we kept up with Manvel most of the game with a lot better offense then what we have this year.

I watched the Huntsville/Nac game. Huntsville is loaded, big boys and very talented. They look better then last year Manvel team if that gives you any indication. Good luck Eagles!

I’m not knocking Bost. I think it was the wrong play call though by someone on the sidelines. Short passes and run and you might pull off a huge upset at the end. Easy for us adults to second guess, but just seemed the most logical thing to do given the flow of the game was run and short 5 yard passes. Worked all night.

PNG had a chance, played great. Two big plays, one being first possession, line up for FG, which Faircloth should’ve known wasn’t going to help in this game. Bost running on this team and try a trick play with the kicker? Come on man. Second play was PNG running down Marshall’s throat, and instead of burning clock like they did all night, someone decides to throw deep pass against DB’s that are more athletic then your WR’s. WR gets bullied out of bounds and DB gets int. That’s the two plays that were the difference. If PNG continues to run and short passes, you might score with very little time and go for two. My .02 congrats to PNG on great game and of course Bost doing what Bost does being a gamer.

Marshall defense isn’t very good. QB for Marshall doesn’t throw very accurate, WR’s dropping passes. I’ll be surprised if they go very many rounds if they pull this game out.
