Todays assessment of the teams, Ozen played pretty good today they are beginning to find a groove,still need some shooters and rebounders but im sure they'll address it ,those players off the field will take care of that. West Brook needs some REBOUNDERS & BALLHANLDERS ASAP as a matter of fact anyone who can score with no Rodney or Jaquan they have to find someone. Silsbee young guys played very well today when those players off the field come theyll will be hard to deal with. D.McCain needs to stop playing cool imo and go get it. Of course Tre Grubbs is my fav but i wanna see him get more aggresive. Central has a lot of length and they are very aggressive on both ends of the floor .Still dont have a true pg .Would like to see the C.Rice Jr. kid at point some i think he would be a solid fit. Overall they have that pit bull mentality gotta love it. HJ is always gonna be a tough opponent Zubrek and Saladin can shoot the leather off the ball. Would like to see Parquet do more i know he is capable but takes a back seat sometimes. Still think they are lacking a pg though. Memorial will be very young this year & they will take their bumps and bruises. Wouldnt sleep on them because they can creep up and bite you if tou take them for granted. Central didnt take that chance Kelly played solid with only 6 players and no height imagine if they had at least 2 bigs they would be pretty scary. They move the ball great and play decrnt defense . Dont sleep on them when everyone gets there. FallBrook i was expecting more of since they have 3 top ranked players in the state in the classes 2017&2018.But being that their coach just got there learning and entirely new system its gonna take time for them to gel. Jacobi Gordon will be a good one. North Shore is tough they have a good mix and when their football players get there it will only add to it. Their guard play is a little erractic not smooth like in past years but im sure Coach Green will have them ready they have some athletic bigs who can run the floor . Dont count them out.

I dont think Ozen has really ever done well in preseason tournaments ...focus isnt really on the looking good right now for the masses...

Kelly will be fine trust me mightve lost a shooter but they have a couple of kids who can pick up the slack....i look for them to be tough again this year and they did beat Ozen in the preseason : (

your right Dove... Coach Green was livng in the Fort Bend area when he got the job Brandon moved with his dad even tho his dad coached at North shore he hadnt been living with him for the year which is required i think..dont quote me on that...

in that game ozen shouldve won by at least 12 they made the game too hard ,taking nothing away from elkins those guys are tough which why u have to execute the game plan....dont understimate some kids there may be one or two that come outta the fire ...season hasn't atarted yet so unless u have a crystal ball its has to play itself out.. Good thing is we can revisit this in 4 or 5 months...lol

i think Young is a very good player best in the region is debatable ...and Yates will not dominate anyone this season...they dont have the personnel like theyve had in past years ....

this could be said for half the kids playing any sport but this particular kid has taken care hold of it A's & B's so i see that as a sign of maturity not immaturity... And personally i would rather have a kid with a lil immaturity than a kid who is grown and thinks he an adult already(in terms of thinking he is above authority) ...jmo

oh i agree its gonna be a tough task the youngsters are gonna have to step up and play some ball... We'll see how it goes

actually the starters were jordan,c.tyler,t.gipson,comeaux,c.bolton later towards the end of season and playoffs wayne and jalen became starters...so technically this team returns alot it is hard to replce jordan and what he did as well as christian and wayne so i could see why "some" think this will be a down year...but again thats why u have to play the game ..right?!!!!

lolllll i guess thats why u gotta play the game... We go thru this every year and the outcome is always different.. I mean if i was betting man my pick would be Nederland returning all 5 starters....then Ozen which returns 8 with 4 starters...and then Central which returns 4 with 2 of them very good starters...i mean we could go on and on but lets not count the chickens before they hatch...hell it could be a 3 way tie never know
