Fans are fans... they talked like that in 07 and 08 too and what do you know state semis and finals those years. Didnt mean squat then and doesnt mean squat now. Sc has the hot hand in sharp and a huge enrollment to ensure more than enough support. Be thankful for what you have ... you're a big fish in a small pond and soon you wont be able to talk so big.

Maybe the past season's success will create some excitement, and better turnouts. We didn't go to PNG for last season's game, and it will be interesting to watch on Sept. 12th.
You just know that PNG will travel big...as will Dayton and BH.

It's to be expected of young schools though. Even Dawson, which has won the region twice in 5 years, doesn't draw the type of crowds a Nederland or PNG does. I was on the Dawson side at reliant stadium when they played Nederland and was delighted with how much space their was to stretch my legs out.
When I was a freshman at Atascocita, I would attend the games every week. Believe it or not, the attendance at AHS' games was even more pathetic then at SC's games in 2010. [b]Tradition takes time to build.[/b]

In Humble ISD, it is possible to for students to transfer anywhere in the district, if they provide their own transportation. However, transfers into Summercreek are pretty much frozen/not allowed, and have been for a few years.

I think SC is going to score a bunch but they'll have a hard time stopping people just like we will. Saying that I have it like this . . .

it is obvious by the way the kids and parents act they dont care about anything. i have heard of schools having to hire extra security whenever they play SC because they are so out of control.

As for coach apologizing, wasn't for me. I wasn't at the first game, too busy umpiring my own game. That "L", oh that's in the books. Last nite I was actually agreeing with your ball coach on a strike call for us,but his azz was too chapped to hear it that way. So if he wants to bark at me, wrong guy because I WILL turn into that fan you love to hate. I bark all game,but I NEVER say anything derogatory or out of line because my son is on the team. Are there FANS that come to our games that I wish would stay home? Yes,but I'm not apologizing for them they're grown folk. If they want to put themselves and there kid out there like that, that's on them. Go get Crosby today!...............and that woodshed, I've been there a few times. Won some,loss some...............but I'm always willing to go. ;) -
