Scenario 1: Throw him against PNG and Nederlad and maximize our odds (we did beat PNG last time). Throw Hagler against LCM and IMO we are still the favorites, because they will be throwing their number one Tuesday as well (IMO). Scenario 2: Throw him against LCM, win. Then have a much decreased chance against the best two teams in the district (who we need to sweep), basicly giving up on a chance to win our first district championship. I know which scenario the fans would like to see. I am predicting Vidor 2 PNG 1 (same as last time)

Congrats LCM. It was a hard fought game. Hunter pitched his heart out. We will be looking forward to the rematch.

Surely it is the first way. Expectations are high with the level of talent we are playing with. With the first set up we are still the favorites to win the district. We can't let one bad game turn our whole thing upside down. I say we give our best to Nederland and we will come out on top for sure. Vidor 5 Nederland 1 (that seems to be all Hester allows)

Nederland only has four games they have to watch tomorrow and the four team tie breaker to scout on Monday Tuesday. Good luck with that.

I think that part is correct. (assuming KP beats North Forrest) If Dayton wins: 1 Nederland vs Dayton or ???????????? 2 LCM vs Barbers Hill 3 PNG vs Crosby 4 Vidor vs Kingwood Park

We just have to put that game from last night behind us and move into playoff mode with 3 games remaining. I think we can get it going Friday night. Chaz showed he could slow down the offense of LCM last time. Any update on Hester. Any shot of him making a "Schiling-bloody sock" type of return.

Should be an intense game. We have had some good ones with Nederland the past couple of years. Highlighted by the play in game at Nederland where we pulled the upset. I say history repeats itself and we pull the upset again. Hester will continue to dominate and Simms is available to slam the door if necassary. Better get there early and put your lawn chair out. Congrats to LCM on a well played game. You guys made the plays when you had. Also the Waddell kid was impressive. To our team. Keep your head up. We knew this would be a tough stretch. Our # 3 just had us real close to beating LCM we just didn't catch the breaks. It happens. We now have our #1 and 2 set to go on Friday. Focus on the dogs and we will get back on track.

Come on guys. We had one bad game. We are still tied for first in district. Have the best pitching staff in district IMO. If I am not mistaken we have the best overall record of anyone in the district. I still think we are the favorites, but we should at least take second.

This has to be the game of the week. Can PNG keep it rolling after the big win over Nederland and then routing Livingston? Can Vidor extend its scorelless inning streak? Vidor has allowed 0 runs on 3 hits in 3 district games. We should have Hester on the mound versus Spikes for PNG. I just can't wait for this one should be a classic. Vidor 4 PNG 0

Vidor could easily finish 1st or 2nd too. That wouldn't shock me either. OLGabe seems to be a little more informed IMO Glad to see things starting to come together. We are going to be tough to handle this year.

Vidor would have to start with Kyle Green. Not even sure anyone else would make it.

That is pretty much the same word I got. That is just disapointing to me. I thought with all the returners we had (Hester, Hester, Hagler, Bruce, Sims) we only needed to plug a couple of wholes and that we might rock n roll from the start. Hopefully we can still make a run at our first distrcit championship.

Just got off the phone with a friend that was there and he said other than Hester we looked kind of down, and that he even gave up a 3 run homer. Someone tell me this was not so. I thought this should be a big year for us. Hope someone has some more positive words than the ones I just heard.

Caught a little practice on the first day and the team looked real sharp. Didn't look like the first day at all. Seemed like we had been at it for weeks. When do we scrimmage and where can I see a schedule.
