1. Never had so many personal messages in all my life. Evidently the core of the cane team was mainly premier, elite, and AAA players playing in AA tournament. Which makes it an even better championship win for the AA Rebels. And not quite as praiseworthy as I had originally doled out for the other staff. I will share that one guy that messaged me said I had one teams name wrong. He said they are called by the 11u community, the Hurriators or the Gladicanes. All in fun. Good luck to all. I also had one guy tell me that both the Rebs, the canes, and the stitch will all be bumped up soon. Gonna make for some good tournaments down the road. MCM
 2. I would like to congratulate the Rebels on their USSSA 11U tournament championship this weekend. I got to see Saturdays games but not sunday. Great job to boys and coaches. It was just a matter of time before they brought home the gold.  I look to see them moved to elite status soon.    And I see the Canes got the silver medal.  What great progress this team has made over the last few years.  Great coaching job by those guys turning this team from rags to riches.  I have seen this core team play many times over the last three or four years and in my opinion for them to reach the finals proves hard work pays off. Possibly the most improved team in recent ford park history. I may be wrong but I don't think they had won a Sunday game for the three or four years prior to this weekend. Kudos for teaching those guys how to play the game and succeed.
 3.
All Players that is not listed on the roster " The coach did not nominate the player or the player declined to play" every player that was nominated will play if the player was available. The roster is available on the TASO web site ]
I think you could have found better way of saying this or left it unsaid all together.
 4. Cubs should be able to win 2 of the next 3.  Lamar may be a bit too strong for them, but Santa Fe and the seventh place game should be two teams they can beat if they have some pitching left. Good luck to the cubs.
 5.
I think we have great chance to win this series if we play good defense.  We are hitting the ball well right now.  We will have to be smarter on offense.  If we get thrown out stealing third when we were already in scoring position and things like that we will get beat.  If we continue to bunt our three and four hole hitters we will most likely get beat.  Just need some better decision making to have a chance.
Sounds like Crosby has some fans in the stands that have coached a little ball in their day.
 6. Smoking baby.  what do you think about that one game coin toss by Nederland?

I don't think the Indians have missed out on post season in decades. Could be wrong.
where did you get you numbers?
[Hidden Content]
 8. Nevermind.  I see they are clinched and will be in at least third or fourth.

 10. Oh it has taken place. "I can tell you that 95% of the time it comes down to the highest numbers when they choose.  Also, I think I can say on behalf of all coaches that we hate to see a kid deserving  all district not chosen because of low numbers." If a kid has low numbers he is not as deserving as the kid with higher numbers. The 7th place Panthers won four games. Two against the winless 8th place team and two against the 6th place team.  If you are in 7th place the odds are that there two better short stops than yours on teams 1 through 6.  "My suggestion is to continue working hard and improving so there is no doubt who is best." There already is no doubt who is best.  The best players are still playing. I am embarrassed for you to have posted this, and I hope it is not even a real letter that went out from who it looks like it was originally written by.
 11. I wish this were a one gamer! It is my opinion that one game would be the best chance to advance here. Then it would be as if we already split and we have our best on the hill vs. their best on the hill.

 13. Could it be possible that 20-4A #4 seed knocks off the 19-4A District Champ two years in a row? That would be an amazing feat for our district if Vidor can pull it off today.  Good luck Pirates.
