Wow. First thing comes to my mind as I start down is Green wins first district championship in the history of Vidor baseball (that I know of) and can't get even co-coach of the year?

You would take 7 cardinals (the 3A district champions) and 2 pirates (the 4A district champions)?
You would take twice as many mustangs as you would bears?
You would take 12 from our two 3A schools and 4 from our two 4A schools?

After the smoke has cleared from the 20-4A race, I am not disappointed with my pirates. I think our coach did well with the team we had. I wish we could have pulled out a couple more wins and been in the race for that last spot, but just did not happen this year. I think going in if you would have said we would finish one spot back of nederland we would have taken it. Just would not have dreamed at that point that the bulldogs would be finishing fourth.

I heard that we tried. But there is some kind of rule that everyone in the district has to agree. Not sure if this is true or not , maybe one of you uil experts could help on that.

We will be in playoffs. Since it went to four teams we have been and prolly always will be in em. An this is the year for us to win em. Lots of good players filling in the holes left from lash year.

I thought our catcher graduated? I thought Keri Hester (DH) was the only Hester we had back?
Either way, we sure have plenty of returning experience. Should be a great year for the pirates. -
How many playoff rounds did Nederland win last year? That was one heck of a team they had. Might be one of the best teams I had seen in this area in a long while.

We have matched up with the eagles a couple of times in the past and to your credit you have gotten the best of us. However, tonight we have CROSBY which is where our focus is. It also means win or loose we will be off this weekend. I would love to come watch the Hill in their first round match up, but I haven't seen any information on that series posted. Maybe you could fill us all in on where you guys will be this weekend so we can come check it out.

Lumb offensive folks say they think they can score 40 this week and just praying that's enough to keep win streak alive. In their mind they have turned the program around enough to be 2-1 right now if not for last minute mistakes of week one.
