#4 is really good.
-
From what I heard from the former big sandy coach Hendrix was consistently mid 80's touching upper 80's. I believe Franklin from kountze was throwing upper 80's.
-
Hendrix was throwing mid 80's before he transferred. How fast was Jacob Powell throwing in H.S? He was from a small school.
-
Williams kid is on par with Bullock. There a lot of talent on this Big Sandy team but I do hope scouts will consider any of these kids.
-
Juco would be the best to start in my opinion. Absolutely one of the best players I've seen in awhile within the area. Plus college hits you like a brick education wise, a lot different from H.S especially coming out of a smaller school.

Big Sandy has grown in baseball over the past few years. It won't surprise me if they make it a couple of rounds in the playoffs let alone might make state. I haven't seen BS play yet but you know they are good if they're blowing out everyone in district by 15+ even if the other teams are not that good.

#1 I'm going to guess is there #1 pitcher for Douglass. Straight fast balls with good speed, will through a change up here and there, curve ball is decent. There is hitting is solid and because of that I will give that edge to Douglass.
-
Who's their number one? or two?
I believe #1 is there one or two pitcher. Straight fastball good speed, good change-up, decent curve.

I just know for a FACT that BS is EXTREMELY lucky to have a coach the caliber of the one they have now and I believe he is as good as any in 1A.
Yeah I also hear that some people say that he is not a good coach. Which I highly doubt, coach bryant knows this game pretty well and a lot of experience behind him. I agree big sandy is very very lucky to have a great coach for there program. Besides the coach issue, big sandy has two young pitchers that probably might get douglass a good run, but i still say douglass will pull the win out due to big sandy young team.

I also heard Big Sandy beat shepherd 6-4 or something like that. None of the brothers pitch against big sandy.
-
-
Is he pitching against colmesneil?
-
Does lovelady still have that outstanding lefty? Or did he graduate last year?
-
Big Sandy beat kountze 6-1, well over all it's going to be a good game today and a good warmup for both teams. Didn't Big Sandy beat Colmesneil last year? 8-3?
-
im pretty sure he was saying they play any competition and only bigger schools

Top arms? Top hitters ? Who you got?
Really hard to say they have a lefty and one kid that pitch against Big Sandy -
Evadale without a doubt
-
I can name two from Big Sandy, Zach Bernard #3 and Walker Tolar #5. Also the kid from Evadale that pitch against Big Sandy last game. He did well against Big Sandy twice
-
He went to Cy-woods

I heard Big Sandy won 2 to 1
Big Sandy won 3-2, Good defense up till the top of the 7th, then evadale came back from from behind tieing the score 2-2. Big Sandy had the bases loaded with 1 out and won on a short chopper to second, in which second threw it to home but catcher drop the ball. Good game from both teams i enjoyed it! -
BS should win, if there pitching is off like last time and they get errors there going to lose. I'm sure they'll come through though.
-
Each team won by 3, next game should be a good game.
