  1. You'll get plenty against Sam Houston. That Kendric Davis kid can go. That will be a good run for the Tigers.
  2. I meant the depth combined with pace of play. I know you guys like up tempo but tough to keep up with that kind of depth. Constantly getting fresh legs thrown at you. Dove taught me the importance of fresh legs...
  3. I already did. The response was, "How about you stick to things you actually know something about?" To which I responded, "How about you not end sentences in a preposition?" To which they responded, "How about you stick the things you actually know something about, dummy?" So basically a dead end...
  4. No doubt about it. They will be one of the better teams in this area this summer. And I think they can play with most of the others. I think the team that would give them the most problems would be Silsbee due to depth and the pace of play the Tigers force...
  5. Ah, couldn't remember the station but was thinking it was FS1. I do know it was the highest rated game that weekend (over some other big matchups), despite being played at 11 am. And with the number it got last year, still only about half the audience UT/ND got this year. But if both schools are bucking a night game, I guess that's why. I wonder if their reasoning is along the lines of what Mack stated. I wouldn't be surprised.
  6. You might just be on to something there
  7. Maybe so. The ND Texas game got a major bowl game rating and Texas/OU always is big. Thinking they could pull much bigger numbers at night but what the heck do I know?
  8. To be fair, it's not like you haven't had that same opportunity every year for 4 or 5 years now
  9. Same time last year (and same station I believe). And still received the highest rating of the weekend. No idea why they don't go prime time with this one. If more people are watching it than your night games, no telling the rating it would get at 7 pm
  10. Me too. And to be honest, the SEC would be the only Power 5 conference that I could see giving him work. And LSU would be at the top of that list (or a school with Mississippi in the name). May be too soon though.
  11. I know Watson had a lot of steam coming into the season. But if I'm an NFL GM, I don't think I can name a player in CFB I would take number 1 over Garrett. The pass rusher has become like the QB and the left tackle in the NFL in terms of value. He would be at the top of my board for what little that's worth.
  12. And like bullets, and although I felt a bit dirty again, I found myself internally pulling for the Aggies tonight (to my son's distaste and displeasure). Man, I hate to admit that on so many levels...
  13. Very impressive win Aggies. Despite a lackluster game against La Tech, Arkansas is a good team. And with Auburn beating LSU today, I think A&M is clearly the 2nd best team in the conference. I've drank the kool aid before (especially year before last) but maybe you guys can hold it together this year come October. Otherwise, Coach September will likely be gone. A good convincing win to build on to be sure. Congrats guys.
  14. hey Buddy, you seen this one yet?
  15. Bert's not a smart mayyyyan...
  16. Forgot about Dr. Shuman!
  17. One of my several mental blocks. Has something to do with Freeman punishing me in my FF league last year.
  18. Or maybe aggy is garbage. Bumblin is okay but he's no Sonny Dykes for pete's sake.
  19. My bad - FOREMAN!
  20. Foreman and Warren are 1 and 2 in the conference in rushing. Moreover, both have the size and style to play on Sunday. Foreman has freakish speed for that build.
  21. A) Not the person the refs say the hold was on. B ) Not sure how that's clearly a hold when the blocker's hands were "inside" as they are supposed to be and when the Tiger spins around and chases, he does so cleanly, which would "clearly" indicate a lack of a hold. and C) L-Train's right, if that's the hold, safety should not have been awarded because it wasn't in the end zone.
  22. Yep. No doubt about it. Not even close to a hold. But to be fair to the refs, you don't often see a tailback laying the wood on a block like that so they were probably confused
  23. It was called on #21 per the ref to the WOS coaching staff. That's Shaw. Who straight up pancaked the dude. Shoulda called blocking too violently....
  24. Soooo Alabama?
  25. Tyler and Draper have very different styles and are both very good. But don't forget the Winters kid from LCM. Overall, he is as good as anyone around here IMO.
