Kountze should win this game...they have been playing their best ball so far this year!

Here is what I think...KL beats EC...HH beats AP...DP beats EC...KL beats AP, (those are the games left to play) Now for the why this happens: 1st. Right Kountze is playing very good baseball and they are hitting very well against good pitching...they have kept the errors to a minimum and KL still has bullets in the gun for pitching come Monday with EC. EC according to to what I have heard and I stress heard was struggling with errors and bats have not been as sharp. Pitching has been good but not lights out. So KL should pull this one out and add another win to the record. 2nd. HH should beat AP because AP has bunch of really good athletes but just not real solid Baseball guys. HH has good 101 players and there consitancy will prevail. 3rd. DP should beat EC. Jacob Howell will be on the mound and more determined than ever and DP has something to prove. Although EC is also on the, "got something to prove train", it may not be enough to over come DP. EC will play with DP in every area except pitch versus batter. I feel Howell will prevail and DP will follow with enough run support to win. 4th. KL should beat AP. again more to do with concistant baseball than how many good athletes on the field. NOW IF ALL THIS COMES TO PASS??? HERE IS THE PICTURE THAT GETS PAINTED FOR DISTRICT AND PLAYOFFS 1st Kountze Lions (1 seed playoff) 2nd Deweyville Pirates (2 seed playoff) 3rd Hardin Hornets (3 seed playoff) 4th East Chambers Bucs 5th Anahauc Panthers ****This was not meant to degrade any teams chances just an opinion not a statement of disrespect. This has been a very competitive district and good baseball has been the normal play.**** I am sure you guys will have your own take so please opine!

Thanks fixed that record atop...see that's what I mean there is many different ways things can play out...makes it alot of fun...great baseball drama...lol! 

Anyone no who owns the head to head between EC and HH?

Deweyville 7-4 Kountze 7-4 East Chambers 7-4 Hardin 7-5 Anahauc 0-11 I think that is right...who owns head to head match ups I know Kountze owns it with DP...HH...AP...even w/ EC. Not sure on DP, EC, or HH one versus the other. I am pretty sure if Kountze beats EC Monday or AP friday than Kountze will be district champs.

Like I said good pitching is hard to over come makes game what it is...pitching is why players go to the Hall of Fame wit lifetime over 300 averages...otherwise we would guys with massive averages.

Well my prediction was 4-2 Kountze...I would like to say that was 100% talent but like I said in another thread...fun to throw a dart from time to time! Lol...this was a great game between two good teams...Jacob Howell, chin up buddy you pitch well and your team mates did a fine job behind you and at the plate. Ethan Franklin...could not be more proud of you kid! As far as the rest of the Kountze lions...very proud of your team work and never die efforts. Ryder what do say about your hit...clutch baby...that's what you say great job! Now lets go get EC!

[/quote] I never said EC did not have good pitching...but when pitching is solid district wide...BATS BECOME THE DIFFERENCE MAKER. When you have dominating pitching it's hard to overcome. Sorry if you took anything I said offensive...I might should have been more clear.

Look I will give them respect...good group of players, but in any district strong pitching is hard to over come. TRACK RECORD! Like I said good athletes and some very good ball players

I am not sure about Deweyville but I know Howell is not shabby at the plate. Not sure what you basing info on...I'm basing Kountze on batting avg. year to date in district.

Great kid...my son has played a lot of ball with him and his brother and they both are incredible young men! I will pray for him and his family...I hope the injury is not serious and quick recovery.

Hey guys this is not War with a deck of cards...this is a baseball game...people predict alot of things including the weather that's an act of God! You ask how...it's called trends, averages and probabilities. In baseball it's no different and sometimes it's just fun to throw a dart at the board blindfolded...lol...Foolish, no...Fun and Exciting, YES!

Kountze hitting has improved since the last game they faced Howell and every one of the guys credit him for the improvement..."seems like facing other pitchers after Howell is easier" Franklin had 18 K's against Deweyville last time out and if that performance repeats than Kountze will win even though batting should improve against Franklin due too seeing him a second time. Kountze wins 4-2

Hardin has to win out...one loss it done. I think Hardin wins this one. EC has sticks but D. Williams is not the easiest pitcher to center up.
