Jasper went through a war in 18-3a. Some of the games they played against the fourth through seventh place teams were clearly far tougher than the two playoff games they have played against teams from other districts. There was only one "gimme" on the entire district schedule. District 21-3a clearly has two teams stronger than any in 18-3a. But you may not believe this, but there are some folks that think that TOP TO BOTTOM, 18-3a was a tougher district this year than 21-3a. Now THAT ought to get some folks riled up. I actually agree. I think that overall 18-3A is a lot tougher than 21-3A. But the top two teams in 21-3A still would dominate that district. Silsbee and HJ. Well HJ and Hudson would be battle tested. If the district was Silsbee, HJ, Jasper, Hudson, Center, WO-S then Silsbee, HJ and Hudson would make the playoff. The other three team would tough competition for them top three teams. IMO

You are lookin gat it wrong. I never said Silsbee was going to beat them by 40 again. I just said that Silsbee wasn't going to overlook them and the game still to me won't be close though.

That a whole different story because you are talking about three team and I'm only talking about two teams.

Silsbee isn't taking them lightly because they played them right before christmas break and beat them by 44 at their place too.

Trust me NW is good. They beat Kountze when they just got out of football that past weekend in the Big Sandy tournament.

They actually start 5 sophomore. Is there any truth to the rumor that Cleveland has a great point guard known as "little Smokey"? IDK what they call him but he run pg pretty smoothly against Baytown Sterling earlier this year. I know they have a 6'5" guy who is supposed to be one heck of an athlete. Also heard they only suit 7 or 8 players That is right. There big guy is pretty good in the inside game and shoot free throws well. I don't exactly remeber how many players they suited but I know it was something like that during district but it playoff now so they may have some more.

You have got to be smoking something. Robinson is more than just scoring. He's a team player that get his team involve every part of the game offense and defense. He set up his team to score points. He does a great job playing defense too. Don't ever question his defense or his playing for that matter. Hayes is a good player and everything and he does plays tough when I seen him play. But I believe that having a player with good attitude on and off court. Being the team leader and helping his fellow teammates in every aspect of the game have to do with being a MVP. Benard and Robinson both have a shot at MVP. But no matter what Robinson is still MVP in my opinion. It might sound like a homer pick but be realistic. We won district. He took his team to only one district lost. He what everyone say that they want to build there team around. Just to let you know . . . Silsbee didn't win district. HJ and Silsbee are Co-District Champs, so they both won district. The third game was played to see who would have the first seed in the playoffs. I was being cocky when I said that. I know they are co-district champ like the year past too. This year Silsbee beat them in the third game to determine who will go as first seed and second seed. I know all about that man. ;D ;D

No problem. Thier PG will be a questiopn for you guys. He goes crazy on the court when they played Baytown Sterling earlier this yer.

They have a big 6'5 like 300 pound kid but it will be hard to play good offense against them. They lack the experience but HJ never let size intimidate yall so I think yall match up well with them. If you play full court press defense on them then I think HJ can have a shot at beating them by 7+.

They beat Silsbee by 11 earlier this year with Robinsin playing with a broken finger. But they are legit, they start 5 sophomore for thier team.

That is why everyone can based their own opinion on this site because it free. I'm not against you from thinking Benard better than Turner or Turner better than Benard. I would say that they play have thier own way of playing the game that make them stand out a lot more than the other player. In this case, turner defense stand out more than Benard and benard offense stand out more than the turners.
