How good is HJ???

Did you use Football, Basketball and volleyball for these?

Congrat now it time for district. THe girls look to be the winner of the district. Who else from 21-3A of girls track team that excel well this season? The boys has some tough competition heading into district. BC and WO-S are not easy team to pass by. HF 4x1 and 4x2 has done some pretty good job in a few track meet this year too.

Congrat to all teams that participated. Silsbee girls dominated! Even without Chasity Foster they done a pretty amazing job. Hope for better result in district. The boys played a close one with BC but I see that changing in district. Seems like some real good competition though. Wish They competed at the WO-S relay there were some tough matchup out there from what I heard.

I learned after the last two years not to doubt HJ ever again. Experience, Talent, Leadership etc...They always still get the job done. If they lack in experience next year then they still make it semi-final, if they lacked in talent they would go to regional final. It happen before. It all goes to the coaching staff, they know how to put there team together and play fundamental basketball. Silsbee has the talent year in and year out. They have the leadership and experience. No offense but the coaching method as far as the team goes compared to HJ coaches to player ratio is not as great. Brooks, Bush and Williams does a great job but HJ coaches has been head coaches at other school on different classification too. That where I see the edge goes too. HJ players has made it far because of thier coach. I was once informed that if Silsbee had Green from houston (a former coach of P.A and resident of silsbee) they could really go farther even though they do go far but state final is what I mean.

North Shore would've blown WO-S out. I really do wish we could play higher classification though. It would bring more exposures to players in lower classification.

Stallworth told me to tell you to call him. If you trying to get him to play for your team he might do that.

I nominate Shannon Robinson as a MVP or offensive MVP. Pheal Hill and D.C Stallworth should get look at on 1st and 2nd team list. Jarvis Benard as MVP or offensive MVP. Trey Burrell and Jacoby Turner for 1st and 2nd team list. If jasper is getting look at in this area, I see at least Dominique Bailey getting look at. Jamar Gulley, the pg from Livingston, Decarlos Frank should get look at on 1st and 2nd team list. Milton Williams of Kountze should be on thier.

Until he confirmed me that he's playing for this particular team I won't see who.

D.C is playing AAU ball. Lane isn't because of 7 on 7 football this season.

U have to put Robinson in the mix. It will be a tight race for outside but I'm rooting for robinson to win it

It would be Jarvis Benard and Shannon Robinson and jacolby turner with the post of D.C Stallworth and the other post is between Ricossa and Avory. I couldn't throw in Kendrick jones because he got moved up near the end of the season

From what I read on another HJ thread, I see HJ going to be tough to beat. Silsbee bring back speeds, quickness, defense, size and experience. They will lose that offensive edge just a little bit but still will be tough to beat. I see O-Field being the 3rd place team this year.

D.C is my boy! He is the best in the area hands down. Now he does have two more years left so he can only get better. I think if he work on his outside game more over the offseason, he will be a factor in the paint and behind the arc. He no doubt can dominate inside but to play college level he need to be taller but he has the talent to play guard too. He will be the player to look at next year. Just watch and see.

Not to bash no players or coaches but I think that if Shannon Robinson was MVP then Coach Sutherland would've been coach of the year.
