If Giddings has any kind of passing game HJ could be in trouble. Secondary struggled last week against a less than impressive Shepard passing game. HJ has a really good offense and a good play-caller in Fogo. The guy knows the slot t and can read a defense well. If the Hawks want to win this game it's going to come down to the defense. I would also like to know if it will be broadcast anywhere.

Not surprised. I don't even know why HJ would even put Hardin on the schedule other than to get an easy W. They will be tested next week though.

WOS owns this district and everyone knows it. I don't think HF wins a game in district this year. That leaves HJ, OF, and Liberty fighting for the next three spot and honestly it's anyones game for second. HJ is a better team this year and so is Liberty. Not sure about OF because I haven't really followed them.

BC will be fine. I would believe they will be playing for a district championship towards the end of district.

It shouldn't even be a question if BC is going to score. They have scored 50+ both weeks. They will score. Now how many is the question. WOS always murders teams that run the slot t. But I can promise you Dubois will have his squad ready for this one.

So happy to see this out of the Hawks! Great first win! I think they would've handed it to Cold Springs too. They have some good athletes over there at HJ. Hope they keep it rolling!

HJ is losing a lot. It's going to be very hard to replace all the coaches that left. It also doesn't help that Moreaux left. HJ isn't going to be the same. I feel like they are going to struggle for a while. They have good athletes over there that are very capable of doing big things. I just feel like the system isn't the best. I hope I'm wrong and HJ has a great season but I just don't see it.

They had one of the best in the area before Sloan. I think only 2 coaches are still there that were apart of the Dubois era. I know since Dubois went to BC 3 of HJs assistance have went and joined him. One is going to be Orangfields head baseball coach. From what I heard another left for Lumberton yesterday.

Don't know about this one. HJ is going to be fine in their new district but this hire seems kind of strange to me.
