Just because this was a crush team dont think that we are all like that.I was not there to see what happened.

South east Texas was well represented at this meet.West Brook won first place (team) and many first, second and third place awards also.They got a best lifter award to. Congrats to all these girls and keep up the hard work. I do not remember who won second in team. I think it was a team called Ash. I could be wrong. Bridge city won third in team.We got 2-first,2-seconds and 2-third place awards,not bad for just having 7 girls.Valerie Brown won 1st in the 198 class with 1002 total.That is a personal best for her.We are proud of you.Gabrielle Brown took second in the 132 class with a personal best of 705. Great job.Me and mom are proud of you.

Congrats to all the BC girls on a great job at the state meet.All of you girls worked hard all year and it paid off. We might not have won first place like we wanted,but second is not bad.Be proud of what your team has accomplished and we will get that first next year. Now on to talking about the new 3A state champion in the 198 class Valerie Brown.I just want you to know how very proud of you we are. Keep working hard and next year all the records will belong to you. Totals at state Squat 430 she got 460 but was red lighted bench 165 dead lift 390 Total 985

LCM SENT THREE GIRLS AND ALL TOOK HOME FIRST PLACE AWARDS.GOOD JOB.VALERIE BROWN FROM BC BLEW UP THE 198 CLASS AGIN WITH A PERSONAL BEST IN THE SQUAT 430.BENCH,DIDNT DO SO WELL 120.DEAD LIFT 360,ALMOST HAD 400 ON LAST LIFT.YOU WILL GET IT NEXT TIME. TOTAL WAS 910.SHE ALSO WON BEST LIFTER.GABRIELLE BROWN IN THE 132 CLASS HAD ANOTHER GREAT MEET. SHE WON THIRD. I AM SO PROUND OF BOTH MY GIRLS AND ALL THE BC LADYS.

The bridge city boys and girls made a real great showing. Valerie Brown won first in 198 class and Gabrielle Brown won first in 132 class. Very proud of both my girls.Keep up the hard work.

Coach abshire did put on another great meet.Bridge city girls came in third.Valerie Brown took 1st in the 198 class with a total of 920 in 3 lifts and Gabrielle Brown took 3rd in the 132 class with a total of 600 in 3 lifts.The BC girls looked good. We had a few missing this weekend.We will be ready for regionals.

198 Girls, Valerie Brown. Bridge City squat 350 Bench 125 Dead Lift 350 Total 825 Not bad since she has not lifted since the state meet last year.She took first place and got best lifter.

Powerlifting is starting again soon. There is going to be some new faces and some old ones.So who is going to be the team to beat.I'm looking at Bridge city to have another good year.
