Congrats to all the girls from West Brook. All of us from BC are proud of you.

BC has 6 girls that made it through a very bad regional meet. Many bad calls and many good lifters did not make it to STATE. This is not good for the sport. Something needs to be done. All this does is hurt the sport and the girls. Bridge City won first in team. Valerie Brown set a new squat record of 460. She is the three time regional champ. Two time record holder. She finished the meet with a total of 1035. She will be going for a total of 1100 at state. Good luck Kid. The girls from LCM  made a good showing. Very proud of all of you. Katy H got robbed again.She should be going to state with the rest of her team. Keep your head up kid. All of us over in BC our very proud of you.

I believe that BC has 11 girls going. Good luck to all the teams that are going to Regionals.Keep your eye on the prize and that is STATE. Think big lift big.

Great job to all that was involved in putting on a good meet.Bridge City girls took first place. All of our girls did a great job as a team. They looked real good getting ready for reginals. Valerie Brown did a personal best on her total. Squat 465, Bench 185 and deadlift 390= 1040. Great job kid. Keep working and you will set many new state records and get another state title.Gabrielle Brown got her total of 650  in the 123 class to go to reginals. Proud of you kid.Valerie and Taylor got outstanding liftter awards in there weight class. Proud of all are girls and lets bring it in to weeks at reginals and then go to state. Another good Nederland Meet. Great job to all that put it on. BC, boys won 1st place team and so did BC girls.Valerie did set a new meet record for squat of 460. She tried to get the one for dead lift of 405. Just missed it. She will get it at West Brook in to weeks. Congrats to all the kids.

I would have liked to have seen LCM at the Bridge City meet to. I really hate to see to ya'll will not make the Ned meet. That is a good meet.

I would also like to send out  a big Thanks to John's team for helping us out with players this weekend.This was a good tournament to end a real good fall season. I am real proud of my girls. We took two teams and made a real strong team that can compete with any team out there.I am looking forward to summer.Good luck to all of them in High school.
