Jumping out front so easily led Nederland to relax while GCM continues to fight and scratch

I am gonna have to go with png in this one. I have gone back and forth for a while but I think it will be close. Neither png or central could beat nederland although central could have if their running back was not hurt according to Soulja. But they also were favorites to win and had nederland out athleted all over the field. PNG will grind em down and break the jags hearts.

I agree.  PNG gave the first half to Nederland. Neuman outcoached Faircloth. Congrats to the Bulldogs! As always, MCM never fails to make everyone hoarse the next day. Great game, kudos to ALL the young men that entertained us last night with thier athleticism. 

Had PNG come out the first half like they did in the 2nd half, the outcome would've been different. I don't think anyone underrates Nederland. MCM is a whole different kind of ball game.  Nederland got the win and deserved it. Your comment tarnishes the win by Nederland. #typical

Not taking anything away from Neumann because he is a good coach but, Montee Barrow and Delbert Spell are two of the best coordinators in the state. They would even make me look like a damn good head coach.....PNG came out in the first half thinking just because they walked on the field they already won. I am a huge PNG fan but I even saw that. Everybody in Mid County was saying it was PNGs year. Even some of Nederlands players were saying it. Barrows and Spell came up with a great game plan and we could not counter and stop it. I am not taking anything away from our boys at PNG because they fought to the end. But, if we would have came out with the enthusiasim at the start of the game instead of waiting till the second half it may have been a different out come.

Worse I have seen Morse since I have watched him play. Mczeal was open in the end zone and Morse sailed it. He must be too hyped. Again, coaching is showing its colors here. It is obvious Neumann prepared for the pass game. Faircloth better adjust better than Neumann or Big Ned will take this game. C'mon Indians, time to fight!

PNG only defense so far is refs. Not knocking the calls but Nederland also shooting themselves in the foot.

We need to stop making penalities that is what is killing us.

If we would have taken the field goal all we need to do is score the touchdown and and we would be up 10-7.

These refs love big ned. Obvious hold and no call.

They wore them vs Baytown Lee and Lumberton, I'm pretty sure the unis weren't the difference...

For what it's worth, Nederland is 1-0 vs teams in alternate grey unis. Ask the Pirates.

Ned will have to play mistake free and control the clock while making an occasional stop on D to win. I think it's gonna be high scoring. The Indians are very good in my opinion.

I love the rivalry...the BEST in Texas as far as I'm concerned! But what I love more, is watching the FINEST young men in TEXAS, on both teams, play with all their  HEARTS to our entertainment one time each year during MCM.  I graduated from Newton, so purple runs deep in my veins, and my first taste of a PNG game, when I heard the war drums, I was hooked. When my son was the Indian Spirit for PNG, he dated the girl who was BIG NED for Nederland. Those kids showed nothing but respect for each other, did several stints together, she in her BIG NED costume, my son in full headdress and regalia.  I say all this for a reason, I know it's all fun leading up to MCM, however, let's don't lose sight of these fine young people from Nederland and Port Neches-Groves, go out and entertain us on that special Friday night in Southeast Texas. Many of these kids read these posts. It's okay to disagree, but not become disagreeable with personal insults and attacks. Best of luck to Nederland. Best of luck to PNG. Again, I feel these are two of the BEST teams in the state of Texas!
