Just seems over the past few years, that its no longer PNG or Nederland, but the "MidCounty" teams. Maybe its because Mid County Madness is such a huge rivalry and gets a lot of press. What do you think?

From looking at the polls, its seems as if the "Mid County" teams are the most hated. I wonder why? Hmmm.....

I don't love to "hate" any team, however, I do "love" it when PNG beats Nederland in MCM! But, I don't hate Nederland at all.....have a lot of friends, and a lot of good folks over there in Bulldog country!

Sitting at the Spring Game Friday night, I couldn't help but notice how "massive" the PressBox is......its huge! There were some guys from a neighbor school there that kept saying over and over that The Reservation looked like and had the atmosphere of a college stadium. I'm very proud of PNG......very proud! PNG.........HONOR>>>>>>>>PRIDE>>>>>>>>>>TRADITION>>>>>>>>>>>PRICELESS!

I was very impressed with PN-G! This new staff has buildt a Foundation and are very organized for such a short time being there. The Multiple set Offense they run will be hard for defenses to stop with the 2 great QB's they have. WR Core is very talented as well with Spencer DeRon and Company. Very few mistakes as well in this game, very well coached. I'm sticking with what i said when Faircloth got the job, PN-G will make the Playoffs!!!!!!!!! I have to agree with you, Coop! I was very, VERY impressed! Faircloth has built a very strong foundation, and I see the Indians only getting better as the year progresses!

I will second that. The improvement is very obvious. Mentally and Physically. The kids feed off of the energy that the coaching staff bring. It has been fun to watch them all work. We will see how it translates in the fall. I'm hearing and seeing so many positive things at The Reservation now. I like the idea that Coach Faircloth is building the "complete" program. Looking forward to Week 0!

From ndnsrock44: Went to the scrimmage Thursday. The offense looked real good...both 1st and 2nd teams scored and moved the ball well. Towards the end of the scrimmage the defense looked good. Forced some turnovers and was laying the wood. Something I have noticed in the practices I have been to is that our kids tackle really well. I think the individual drills are paying off for us. I have seen a lot of great open field tackles that you see missed a lot in high school. I LOVE Coach Faircloth! He is an equal opportunity butt chewer. It doesn't matter who you are or what position you play, you better not slack up even one play around him. If you do, he will rip you a new one. I don't think you will ever see one of his teams quit. The way he runs his practices, I know we will see an aggressive, fired up, intense team this fall. PNG lookin REAL GOOD!

Anything CAN and WILL happen in high school football in Southeast Texas! That's a given!
