Upandin is a little high strung pride. I will give him cuddos though, they have done well so far. Their head coach knows football and how to adjust. Not sure he will be ready for Ned black trickery they will b mixing in game plan though. New look from black now that playoffs are here. White will just keep handing it Toni. 8 as usual

Wow shocking! Is Ned black scrimmaging bmt senior or something? Well, I just hope they both make it to week 2 so we can see the game. White for the most part does their talking on field. Not quit as arrogant as some of the black fans.

I thought Png P looked pretty good against Bmt the first time. I know the score didnt really reflect this but they might keep it a little closer this round.

 

I also wouldnt be surprised to see a battle out out of Lum W against vidor.

Why not want to win? You can win, learn , and still have fun correct? There is a difference for me it GRADES, ATTITUDE, and SPORTMANSHIP. I see where you listed grades, tell him to keep making those grades that is what is most important at least in my book it is . :P  :)  :D

 

I didnt say i dont want to win. We wouldnt be out there if we didnt want it. The outcome just doesnt matter either way for "me". Its about developing young minds and trying to instill a love for the game. That in its self is a win. More points on the scoreboard at the end of a game is only a plus.  

my my marie, getting a little excited on here.  I like it.  pride, 10 doesn't typically play defense.  he is a great runner though.  I think gold walks on vidor, truthfully.  I would love for them to beat Lumberton too.  you never know.  knowing pride, if they lose, it wont be from a lack of game film. 

I think ned white roles against blue and pulls out a win against black.  just my thoughts.

 

 

Thanks hunch. I think we can too but with the humbling season we have had you never know. Lumberton will be a tough challenge for us but one we would love to have the chance to accept. Time will tell. We have to worry about Vidor first.

 

Ironically i have been to way to many vidor games this year. Ironically i never went to watch them since we didnt play them. Always went for their opponent. Thanks goodness for the camera.  ;)

Easy big guy, u need to worry about Vidor and Lum W if you make to the next round instead of little ole me. That's it really. This just started to get fun. 😊 here's my take on the difference between you and myself. I don't care whether we win or lose against Vidor so long as my kids have fun and learn. We will still be there round 2 it just might be to root for my sons friends on other teams. We got fall baseball, school basketball, little dribblers and straight A's in GT classes to worry about. Losing a football game won't kill us.

Keep taking shots against our defense if it makes you feel better. I was only saying that if we can do it then Ned W can do it. Keep up.

 

And yes my kid made some field goals and i thought it was cool. No touchdowns tho so once again you have misspoken. I guess all you can do is add numbers from the STJFL website. Great job!

I could say more but it will just consist of more arguing and that's not what I want. I support Bmt Sr and agree that what happened to them and their coach is bs. And I also support Ned w as I even signed papers saying they didn't intentionally run the score up on us. I just think that both teams could benifit more from some other techniques than talking about it on here

Pride - I think you are a great guy and I have a lot of respect for you, but I totally disagree.

This has absolutely nothing to do with winning a youth football game. It is about being accused of cheating and lying and having no recourse. No way to defend yourself or clear your name.

And as far as the comment about finding a way not to do it again - Bmt Sr wasn't doing it in the first place. We are still playing the same way just without our head coach.

And it's about more than having a game taken from you or your coach suspended for 2 years, It's about right and wrong. It's about unequal application of open ended rules and punishments.

I'm sure you'll say otherwise but if you were in this exact situation, you might feel differently. I understand teaching your child about not worrying about things you can't control. And in some cases that's true. But I will always teach my child to fight for what is right and not to be complacent when injustice is taking place. If you don't speak up and you allow untruths to be taken as facts then you are just as bad as the one speaking the lies. All that being said, this isn't being discussed with the team (or my child) and as far as the kids are concerned it is over.

I will be the first to admit if I'm wrong about something. I also know that people are going to believe whatever they want but, I'm gonna call a spade a spade and if that makes people uncomfortable then so be it. This a public forum and anyone can speak their mind.

I get what your saying about going to the meetings and serving on the board. However, think about what happened to the BMT president. Also the people that run the STJFL aren't logical, so applying logic and thinking anyone that disagrees would be heard is a waste of time. However, I for one will be at the next meeting papers in hand.

And while it may be over as far as the STJFL is concerned, it won't be forgotten. I for one have a very long memory and what goes around comes around.

I agree with most things you said but understand one thing. All I'm saying is that talking about it on here is going to solve anything. That's it.

Its not difficult. I have been in your shoes. 2 years ago we had a game taken from us as I'm sure you remember. We moved on afterwards, didn't bring it up to our kids again, worked hard and pretty sure it was you in which we beat in the super bowl. 😉 hence the reason why you would remember. Anyways there's your positive. And I'm sure y'all will be there in a few weeks. Great opportunity to teach your kids how hard work and resilience pays off.
