1.
Central should win this game, but why do I have this gut feeling that PNG could end up beating Central. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same? This would be devastating if it should happen and cause chaos at Central.
Anything could happen in 20-4A.
 2. Serious question... Did Humble change their mascot from Wildcats to Panthers?
 3. Nederland  2-0 Vidor          1-1 LC-M          1-1 PN-G          1-1 Ozen          1-1 Livingston  1-1 Central      1-1 Lumberton  0-2
 4.
i could not agree more... very disappointed in PNG fans... They are great school fans... community fans... terrible football fans... as a collective group they do not seem near as interested in the game being played as they do the pride, honor ,tradition.....Not that that is a bad thing but... doesnt mean they are football fans....
Well.... While your at it.... Why don't we just bash everything PNG. The Indian Spirit didn't dance hard enough, the Indianettes were not in sync, the band didn't play loud enough, the stadium parking is horrible, they play the fight song too much and the concession stands food isn't good.  ::) - I mean come on people. The jealously and venom spewing from your keyboards is quite comical. They are having a down year. It happens. Still doesn't take away that many kids are giving their best each and every week and their crowds (away and home) will still out number most all of the other local teams -- even though they are having a down year.
Welp, like i said, no playoffs for PNG  ;) BTW, when they announced the score at Bulldog Stadium, their side went NUTS!!!!  :o
Probably the same way the PNG fans went crazy when they announced Dayton had slaughtered Nederland in Nederland 68-0 in 2007.
 6.
I can just hear the PNG parents blaming the coaches as they have since this Senior group was in middle school. Get ready because it will be a down year in every sport at PNG! You heard here first, Faircloth WILL LEAVE after this season!
Are these not the kids that have been in the "faircloth system" for the past four years?  Just proves the everyone has down years. Will be very interesting to see how many faithful will still be on the faircloth band wagon. It spoils quickly in PNG when you start losing.

Vidor by 14.
Are you saying Matthews didn't have them ready to play us last week?  Come on, Matthews has them ready every week just like every other coach. The better team wins on Friday night.
No.  I simply meant that Matthews will not allow this team to hang their heads on the tough loss to Nederland.  He will have them ready (once again - as he always does) to face another tough district opponent.

 10.

I read about a coach in a northeast state winning state championships that never punts and kicks onside every kickoff. His reasoning was that the opposing team would score after a punt or conventional kickoff a high percentage of the time anyway and he usually had a 50% chance of converting on fourth down and his team recovering the onside kick 50% of the time. I thought he was nuts until he started quoting percentages and his logic. If you think about it he has a strong argument. Under the circumstances cited in this thread why not try the unconventional. That would at least give opposing coaches something to think about.
Smart coach, was it a print article or do you have an online link to read?
[Hidden Content]
 11.
They may actually put a w up against port neches. This png team may be the worst excuse for a defense I have ever seen. Nederland will hang 50 on us, vidor will hang 35 on us ozen is gonna break the record book for a single season game rushing record. Lcm is gonna run down our throats. I'm at a loss for words, lol stands weren't even half full. Our big huge offensive line couldn't stop the three 160 lb rushers from getting pressure on the QB. The young qb broke his hand, AJ came in and did a ok job up until the handoff to the blitzing raider, looked like a nfl highlight goof for a fumble to the house for 6points. That maybe the only district win we see. It will be a long couple of weeks. Guess we will have to wait for next weeks game to see the next round of follies, hopefully AJ got a lil confidence and can carry it on into next weeks game.
PN-G defense is allowing 20+ points in every game they have played. No matter how good the offense is, you are not going to be competitive allowing those kind of points week end and week out.
Never been to Vidor's stadium but that's how alot of visitor sides are!  Not all of them but alot of them!
In 2A maybe. At least you can't get a bad seat on the visitor's side. They are all within the 30 yard lines.  8)
LOL.....I'm from BH and most teams have decent sized visitor seating, however I think the Crosby visitor side seating is the worst on our side of the river.
Livingston's is very small as well.

Vidor fans will be smiling and the Nederland fans will have puffy red eyes.
Bronco1 Do you remember 2004 Bi-district game played at Rice? Bulldogs 49 - Dayton 14?
With all due respect C O Wilson....  the only score the faithful Broncos remember is the score from 2007..... Dayton 63 - Nederland 0.  :o
 16. This should be a good one!  Respect to SC.  They appear to have a very strong team on both sides of the ball this year. Crosby will put some points up - but Im not sure they can hang with SC for four quarters.  SC by 14 - in a high scoring game.
 17. Typically.. PNG rises to the challenge. I agree...time will tell.  This will be a season that Faircloth will have to show how good he actually is.  He was touted as "the one", so I can only imagine the backlash from the faithful should he go 2-8 or 3-7 no matter if the talent is down or not.  The PNG faithful stick together and something tells me that some folks will be eating their words at the end of the regular season.  The question is...  will it be the ones that are predicting a fourth straight playoff appearance or the ones predicting the Indians to fall on their face and have a losing record???
 18. Broncos tough to beat at home. Shoot....broncos hard to beat anywhere!! Dayton 31 Crosby 17

Or do you just think that Lumberton is that weak? ???
Have you seen them play? If so, then you know where the offense is coming from! If not well let me tell ya yes they are that weak!
Yep, saw them beat the Silsbee Tigers.  About the luckiest game the Indians ever won.  Not impressed with whatever offense you are going to drag out.  Your coaching staff doesn't even know who the quarterback is.  Do you?  You guys couldn't score that many points if Lumberton didn't even take the field the second half.
What's wrong Bro.... U mad?? That loss hurt huh?
