1. this game,if i was a coach, is a nightmare for me. why?? 1.CV for some reason gets up to play PAM and they have done it since we been in 21 5a. 2. how long do you keep the starters in if you get a big lead?? 3. NS has a bye...they will be in the stands...do you keep it vanilla??(i know they will see the film anyway). 4. THE TOUGHEST ONE OF THEM ALL...KEEPING THE KIDS FOCUSED ON CV!! this is the one that really concerns me. trap game all over this one. hoping for a PAM win with no injuries...NO SCORES FROM ME!!

WB is averaging just over 310 yards a game, this season. That really doesn't say much for a nascar-style offense thats suppose to be able to score at will. But it has also been hit and miss, with this offense so far. If they can keep some drives alive, score a few points, and keep the defense from getting worn out by the 3rd quarter, then I think the Bruins can sneak away with one. Hopefully, the extra week off will put them ahead of LP in preparation, and it will show on the field.
This--to me--is the age old question. Is it better to have the extra week off, or is it better to continue when getting into sync? LP got a big lead on BS and was able to take the foot off the gas early.
in this district, hard to say lol...i mean take PAM for example. it would be nice to have a bye before NS to  heal any injuries, but if you are in a rhythm and things are clicking then you want to keep playing.
 3. oldawg, i just was going by what i read. the point was they were doing more passing than running. you are right about them adjusting and the coaching. goat, i agree with you on that. we need someone who is going to catch the ball. what's worse is, he is the one that's open lol...rucker can get seperation using his speed sometimes. j. leday is double covered. jacobs is used on screens.

DP found something that worked and did what they were suppose to do, run it till we stop it. Guess what we didn't. I think the injury on the opening kick-off of the second half ( a DP player hanging broken leg in front of our bench) had a lot to do with it. That was freaky looking!!!!!!!!!  Believe it or not we all lost focus fans and players. We just need to maintain our composure and focus the entire game. This was a good learning experince for everyone including us the fans.
i agree goat with not focusing, but an injury, unless it was a near death experience, shouldn't stop you from focusing. sorry i couldn't be there last night...sounds like to me,we were prepared for DP to pass the whole night due to they were a passing offense, but they ran and we never adjusted. they seemed to adjust to the swing passes and option plays. they seem to not have done well with the zone read and that's when we were successful.
DP isn't a "passing offense" and never has been. Their head coach is the former OC from Katy. DP runs a balanced O and takes what they're given--run or pass. They've got a great staff that makes halftime adjustments like few others. If they had a little more speed, they'd be deadly. Especially, with 4,000 enrollment.
in the pregame report, this years DP team likes to pass the ball alot. from the panews-The Deer have the most passing yards of any team in 21-5A this season, but have just the fifth-best offense by average yards per game. The Deer are averaging 322 yards per game.

 7. in all fairness BG, gotta throw a flag when we are moving on offense before the ball is snapped and when we make it obvious we came across on defense. late hits. now the holding calls, that was insane. holding is done on every play in football, but to say PAM did more is a little much.
I dont think they beat Lumberton the way Lumberton ran on PNG.
Central lost close games to West Brook and Memorial and lost by 14 to WO-S.  Those aren't bad losses.  Lumberton had scored 8 total points on the season before putting 25 on PNG tonight.  That tells me more about how bad PNG's Defense is this year than how good Lumberton's offense is.
well some of those games, the score doesn't tell the truth on how bad central looked. against PAM,yes the score was close, but there was no doubt that PAM would win the game. sounds crazy,i know. first score was a scooped fumble. next score,PAM not once, not twice.but three times bailed central out on 3rd down,on PAM's side of the field due to penalties. they should have punched it in after 3 3rd downs from the 35 of PAM lol. they scored on a drive they actually earned late in the game. otherwise. PAM's offense moved the ball with ease between the 20's and killed themselves with turnover on downs from dropped passes,overthrown/under thrown, and one pick. against brook it was a follies tape smh lol.
 9. noticed that jakobi jones didn't score. was wondering if he was hurt or was the xavier kid a typo lol.so xavier johnes was out all season and last night was his first game?? wr or rb???
 10. stop jakobi jones and you beat ozen! take away or be ready for screens to him. also #2 is a speedy guy too(christein michaels little brother).
 11.
PAM, come on down those rankings and hang out with us for a while....... ;D ;D ;D
no thanks SB lol :D..PAM is still undefeated. ;D 8)
 12.
How early did PAM put in their 3s?
horrible dude...i wasn't there, but 13 penalties for 117 yards and on one drive 2 major penalties led to a DP td.
 13.

PAM continues to roll.
Didnt roll tonight, more like limped out.
yeah bambi kicked and bucked us up pretty good  >:(
 14. the announcer made a key point...PAM played this way ALL year in district last year. every game was to the wire, except the sterling game. CV was a nail bitter. NS was a freaking boxing match,LP game 1 was a slug fest,WB came back to try to make a game of it. playoffs, the toughest games were the 2nd and the last lol....
 15. 13 PENALTIES FOR 117 YARDS!!! >:( >:( >:( key to this game...gotta get better!!
 16. well ugly win for the titans..but...still....UNDEFEATED!!!!!!... now who gets #2??? i say dayton deserves #2 and nederland #3,wos#4
 17.
Final GCM.  32 TC.      49 TC very solid on offense. Dawson will score at will on their defense. GCM has some work to do tackling wise. Need to beat Lee next week if they want to stay in the playoff race.
last year,TC gave dawson all they wanted and dawson got out of there with a one point win!!
no win next week. quote me. (only cause of past history with C'View)
YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT!!! >:(
 19. well that's the ball game....UGLY WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but i'll take it... i will not say anything or smack up about PAM until after week 10... i will defend them, but i will not say what will happen...next week trap game...GET YOUR HEADS IN THE GAME!!!!
 20. this is simply embarrasing!!! up 28-7 and half and this smh... now i bet ya'll,we play prevent defense...why kenny why??
 21. we have lost any and ALL momentum...gotta give DP all the credit...can't blame the refs now...double false starts smh...we hand it off to a rb that can't run...trying to milk the clock and it ain't working... well what do you know...1st and goal... i would have tried romar...now 3rd and goal...#9 is not a running back smh...thank you ricky...DON'T LET LEBRIE KICK IT OFF!!!
