1. tough pick. last year ozen should have beaten them. wb lost coach stump and talent. gonna go with ozen in a close one late in the 4th.
2. 9 words and olddawg should not bark on a PAM thread till the end of the season: youtube video laporte vs port arthur memorial region championship.
3.
The teams that don't correct the mistakes made in the scrimmage games. Just sayin..
so far, this has to best answer. IMO,the scrimmage games already "exposed" you. We know nederland is banged up and so there is no surprise if they lose. not making an excuse for them, but right now it is what it is. they win, then that might be a tad of a surprise for them to overcome the injuries or play through them. Central as descibed in other threads, don't look so good right now. them losing will not be surprised. them winning would be a huge upswing for them, but i doubt it  ;D. for the teams that won, i think you will see much of the same. a team that is far along enough from where they should be will do fine in week 0. PAM,WOS,and BH comes to mind.
4.
LP dominates!
OLDDAWG said PAM fans was getting giddy over a scrimmage...ookaayyy. ::) ;D
5.
So much emphasis placed on a scrimmage. Man, you PAM folks crack me up! Whatever makes you feel better at night I guess... :o
with all due respect, show me where a PAM fan got over excited about the scrimmage. it was the ONLY scrimmage they had and will have. It was the first time they played against anyone besides themselves. If you look on this site, everyone is giving there opinions on how each team fared during the scrimmages and PAM fans have done the same. Wow, jealousy is an evil soul...
6. you should know within your heart it wasn't a "fluke". based on LAST year, the first game PAM had LP on the ropes...period!! imo,the play that cost us the game happend in the first qtr. i didn't agree with coaches call to run romar 5 yards out from the endzone. if it was 1 or maybe 2 yards yes. that and a wind assisted fg. but hey, that's football, lp won. so when PAM simply DOMINATED lp the second game,it was a fluke. smh. go back and watch the film on youtube...recored by an lp fan.
7. somebody tell soulja centrl don't have to worry about the "three headed" monster, but now everyone has to deal with the ELEVEN HEADED MONSTER as in the titan defense!!
8. i know the rb and wr that play for texas city and they are twins. they play football all year around. they are the foreman brothers. been playing and starting on varsity since they were freshman. pn-g will be okay. i think they have to improve as the season goes along. they are a playoff teamif they can shake the injury bug.
9. its okay B.G.,i mean afterall, they are the district champs....pam is only REGIONAL CHAMPS  ;D
10. i'm a titan fan and my observation of fisk from last year wasnt too great. i know other factors included him not getting as many reps and in blow out games it was hand the ball off. however the passes i did see him throw, they were in the dirt or well over thrown. is the lott kid still on the team?? i heard he was actually better?? as far as people keep saying the "three headed monster" is gone, well to be honest, that "monster" was only present a few times last year. maybe the first 3-4games. if you remember holmes was hurt and didn't play a whole lot last year. even in the playoff game against clear springs he saw LIMITED action and that was a tough game. seales had always been there. they started throwing to him last year. year before that you just had other star players on the field with him. both ledays will be a handfull for secondaries as these wr's stand 6'2" last time i checked, might have grown an inch. throw in rucker at the slot and wr's are really complete. if these two young rb's pan out, PAM should go atleast 4 rds deep. remember, nobody knew who nate holmes was two years ago. nobody knew who jamaal charles was(except for lincoln alumni). PAM is at a point to where they can replace some of the talent without missing a beat. QB is the only issue they will have.
