Well if they both played sloppy and horrible, then they canceled each other out and were on equal terms and Liberty won, so they were the better team that night. ;D

I was waiting for this name to pop up as I went down the posts. Very glad to see his name on here, this kid has done great so far this season...can't wait to see what he does when district comes around and the games then REALLY matter. Also, I would like to add Tyler Copeland from WH. I don't know his stats personally but from a couple of posts on other threads it seems like every game the kid is putting up double-doubles. He was a good player last year and now is having to step up big with the absence of Letsinger. Maybe someone can put his stats on here and give ya'll a better idea of what I'm talking about rather that "he's good." 8)

SP will have the biggest test out of the three games being played tuesday....especially if it's at HD. Good luck guys.

BS off a great win against Broaddus, can they carry the momentum on into friday against Splendora?

The game is gonna be close but I will have to go with liberty since they are at home....that will give them a slight edge. Liberty by 8

I don't think that Evadale, Sabine Pass, or High Island have a chance but WH can easily sneak in a win against any of these teams (BS Spurger HD) if they take them too lightly.

Great battle WH considering the circumstances, once everyone is healthy things will definitly come full circle.

Lot of respect for WH because of last year but I'm gonna have to say Hardin by 18.

It's a morale booster for the pirates to keep them going til district....they have a great chance to take 2nd place from HD in that district.

If J'Covan wants it bad enough and can see what he is doing is hurting his team and his chances at advancing deep into the playoffs, then he will clean it up. Otherwise their season is going to be short lived and I personally think that he is not capable of cleaning up his attitude. He's had it since he's been playing and you would think that since he is a senior now, usually with seniority comes maturity and leadership (both of which he lacks and needs to help his young team succeed) he would have dropped the attitude but I guess not. Surprised?---No. Dissapointed?---Yes, because to see a player with that much talent just go to waste because he likes to throw temper-tantrums....he won't make it far in college with that outake on life basically. What it all comes down to is "J'Covan.....just grow up."

Congrats to HJ on the win, but you can't say that Chapel Hill is the #1 team in the state. Rankings this early in the season dont mean a thing, for instance just look at what is happening to Kountze and Goodrich.....Kountze has lost 6 or 7 games and they were ranked 3rd in the preseason polls and Goodrich is still ranked 1st in 1A D-2 I believe, but that wont stay for long once they start playing quality D-2 schools.....they've dropped games to Big Sandy, Coldsprings and had close game with Onalaska. Lets just wait a little longer and see what happens.

Not taking anything away from Huffman because they deserved the win they played harder and wanted it more, but BS should've beaten them. They played them this time last year in the same tourney and beat them by 12, BS went into this game thinking they had it won but Huffman had other ideas. BS really needs to get their offense rolling quick.

This is going to be a great game. Both clubs always have great teams year in and year out. BS pulled off a stunner last year in triple OT against Broaddus at Broaddus, maybe we'll get to see the same this year......BS by 6

It's gonna be another quiet year from Sabine Pass, they lost to Buna in the Orangefield tourney!!! 56-39!

Yeah it's not written in stone but I like to pull for the underdogs.....I love upsets!!!! Warren is playing very well as well.

I'm making a prediction....Hardin comes in 2nd in that district behind Kountze and ahead of EC. Hardin has a great ball team this year, and the best part is that no one is talking about them, they are quietly winning and displaying great games and I am predicting a runner up position for Hardin!
