Didn’t end up making it to El Campo but was told during the controlled session Bellville scored once and El Campo did not. Both teams scored once in the live session before it was called due to weather

A lot of things can change in one offseason… I saw it in Bellville last year. And that was with keeping the coaching staff in tact… The juniors on that state finals team that lost to Gilmer were the more talented class than the seniors.. 3 D1 kids… but they had 0 leadership. Combine that with injuries and a region favorite was bounced in the second round last year. So many factors in high school football

To say the least 🤣 but too be fair a lot can change between now and then

They brought back 3 starters from last years state finalists team… I believe they starting a freshman at middle so gonna be one of those seasons where they will get better as the season goes but Coach Brewer should have them where they need to be come playoff time.. I mean there is no shame in losing to decent 6A teams but these are also games they probably could’ve won. They will still probably be a favorite to win the region come playoff time.
