No score on the Leggett @ Spurger game. Leggett was a "no show" for Spurger's Homecoming Night!

Spurger had a couple of starters that were off their game and the ball just didn't fall for them, 2 players that played with the J.V. & on the varsity that night, ( not sure were these 2 will end up playing ) in my opinion they need to be on Varsity, the point guard impressed me the most in this game!

Sounds like a Hater to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what the final will be in Houston, but I DON"T think that it will be a blowout @ all. And I guarantee that Spurger will not be as down as some people think. Spurger will be a overall changed team, including players, coach, and their game itself. Spurger will do just fine this year. I do agree w/ you on Evadale, they should have a much better year and has a good shot @ being in the top 3 along w/ Spurger ;D ;D ;D

Yes, Coach Isaac's will/is doing a great job @ Spurger. Spurger will be a changed team in many ways. They'll may have bumps in the road, but they should overcome them and do well. Many of the players has enormous respect for this new coach. A coach should be strict, and get respect from their players. But a coach should also respect their players & not take the love of the game from a player. This team as a whole has talent, heart, and fierce determination. I think also this year the scoring will not be centered on 2 or 3 scorers, but will see. If the Spurger boys play team ball & not let their heads swell up to big before they even start the season. I beleive they'll suprise many non-beleivers. Coach Isaac's and the Spurger Pirates, a year of change for the good

Yes, Pate Sheffield & J.T. Sheffied graduated. Spurger lost "3" starters to graduation.

Gracious, that seems a little harsh. Just because BS lost, doesn't really mean that much. Their still a great team, going to the playoffs, and should go far!!!!! I respect BS and support Spurger!!!!! 8)

I believe the Evadale & West Hardin game, scheduled for 2-12, was played early in the season.

I would consider their last game a close one. Spurger stayed ahead until the end of the 3rd or beginning of 4th. Spurger only lost by 5 @ their place, playing BS as a whole, NO ONE missing. Maybe the two will make a speedy recover. Good luck Spurger and BS!!

Lots of things, COULD still happen As of right now, HD and Spurger still has one game left against BS. They both right now are 8-2 in District. If they both lose to BS, Spurger beats SP and HD beats HI. And they stay tied for second place, I hear they will play, a play off game @ the Montagne Center. If Spurger and HD both pull the win off of BS, then all three teams will have 2 losses. And yes if only Spurger or HD pulls a win from BS, then yes they would all out have 2nd place. However it ends up, will depend on who shows up to the game and how bad these teams want it! Anything is possible w/ these "3" teams. Spurger lost to BS by 5 and HD by 4, and then beat HD by 12 HD has beat BS in non-district play, and BS has beat HD in district play I don't know the scores of these games, though I'll be pulling for Spurger, Best of luck to the other "2" 8)
